Yup..I agree 100% Phight..Hats off to The Irish cause they played as well as any team could against y'all..Champions finds a way to win these games & that's what The Big Blue did tonight,,Awesome win & game..

Exactly 72 & I won't lie I'm a college football fan to the bone, but, when you witness an historic run, no matter the sport, we will all look back in 20yrs & reminisce about watching the greatest & most historic run in college B'Ball history..Just like when The Crimson tide went undefeated & won the NC in '09, in this day & age in all sports, it's more impressive than past undefeated Championship runs from past decades..Today's athlete's in college football & B'Ball are superior athlete's, as compared to say the 70's & 80's, plus, there's more schools in the NCAA from top to bottom, that are better in all sports, than past decades as well, there's more schools in sports today that are just better than there were in past decades as well..
The Strength & Condition Programs are vastly superior as well, that produces vastly superior athletes in NCAA sport in this day & age, that makes this years historic undefeated run by Kentucky & the undefeated '09 NC run by The Tide, that much more impressive to me. when you factor in all these variables, as compared to undefeated Championship runs by other teams from past decades..Some may disagree with me..But..That's just my opinion..

Very true. In 1992, Duke's toughest game by far on their road to the championship was against us in the regional final. I am hopeful that tonight's game will be UK's toughest challenge of the tourney as well and that we'll take care of business against Wisconsin and whoever comes afterward.

UKfan2015 ..I agree 100% with ya..I'm in no way shape or form trying to belittle Duke or any college basketball or football teams from past decades, that's had undefeated Championships runs & seasons, but, to do what Kentucky is doing this year & what Bama did back in '09 is simply amazing when you consider how much better Players in both sports are today's games & the sheer amount of schools that are really really good from top to bottom(the disparity in both sports can't be compared to past decades that makes an undefeated run in this day & age highly unlikely..And is why I think they're more historical than past decades undefeated championship seasons..IMHO)& in any giving game could beat the best teams in the sports they're playing..What we witnessed by The Tide in'09 & Kentucky this year is two of the most impressive & historic seasons in either sports in the history of the game..

Tide Man. I'll be honest. Nothing much gets my respect. Bama sports get my respect. Not sure I can say that about any program.
To be completely honest with ya Will..I agree with ya & feel the same way to be completely honest..Kentucky B'Ball literally is the only other sports teams I keep up with & have respect for like I do Crimson Tide Football..The similarities in how we have both historically, are both the most dominant programs in both sports, we both have the best two Coaches(Coach Cal & Coach Saban), leading or B'Ball & Football Programs, and neither one are slowing down anytime soon to the despair of the rest of the NCAA..
Oh Yeah..We understand how the other has to continually deal with all "The 'Hater's" on a daily basis, when you win like we both has & will continue to win..Both our respected Programs has become the most hated Programs in the NCAA..I don't bout the rest of you guys & gals..I can handle that as long as we continue bringing home 'The 'Ships" & Championship Trophies..LOL..
