Stone threw some nice tosses to 17, but let’s be honest the defense is what won that game. Hubbard was fantastic, dominated their OL all day. Bastone a really good game too. Good job by McGairgle for having everyone well prepared and ready to execute the game plan. Their only score came against our backups (maybe we should have guarded 20 once it became obvious that their 2nd QB was pretty much only throwing to him, but oh well who cares). CMU was just overmatched.
Got off to a slow start but defense got the offense going. And then we rolled from there.
Did Olsen get hurt? Seemed weird that we refused to kick FGs a couple times.
