Great class Bulldogs!

Both Ole Miss and State are cleaning up this year in recruiting.

I look forward to the Landmass being relevant in the near future.

Cheers!

Didn't you hear we got hat punked today? You are too happy for this board right now

Yeah, getting hat punked is never fun but hey, Chris Jones put that maroon hat on like a boss. Though I think most of this "IT" business is overblown, as is most accusations of cheating in college football recruiting, I bet Mullen grew up some this offseason and you guys will be better for it in the future.

The fact that some are disappointed with the 19th rated class in America.......

Should tell you what a damn good job Mullen is doing increasing our talent level. Also remember that he redshirted most of last year's class. We will have a really talented team on the field for the next few years.

I agree. The Landmass has never seen this kind of talent. I eagerly await the next decade! I have a little one on the way due in July and I'm just thankful that maybe they won't have to suffer as fans the way we have growing up!

7 of our 8 conference opponents for next year

finished ahead of us. A top 25 recruiting class in the SEC is not a luxury, it's a necessity to even think about a bowl game.

And yet, we've been to 3 straight with recruiting classes ranked mostly in the 30s.

I think there is enough noise in the rankings that top 20 will basically keep us even with everyone other than the top tier (basically Bama, FLorida, and LSU level right now; maybe UGA too). Most likely, even when we do get a class that is equal or better than those in the top tier of the SEC, our recruiting rankings won't look much better. We'll just have some lower ranked recruits blow up for us.

[Shmuley]

Our recruiting rank is #24 in the 247 model. Which puts us at #7 in the SEC West. Tough neighborhood.

"We didn’t play out of hatred for anyone. We have our fan base to do this for us!" - Hugh Freeze (after Ole Miss' 41-24 Egg Bowl victory)

True. Albeit, this time does feel different. We shall see.
