I can tell you that ole Warez doesn't cheat! Well, maybe when there is money on the table I might be persuaded to bend. Maybe

Lol. I had forgotten how much you all hope for the worst, even to the point of rationalizing your negative fantasies

EVERY Mountaineer fan hopes that WVU is not caught up in the FBI web/scandal. That's a given. I have great respect for Bob. We met at his Cleveland WVU chapter appearance and I have the photo to prove it. But I think we'll all wait till this plays out before casting the first stone. And hope Bob is as pure as I think he is.

Way too soon, there is a legitimate chance the entire practice is commonplace and every program who has sniffed an NCAA bid in the last 30 years is implicated.

However, I am comfortable in saying that Huggins is on the cleaner end of the spectrum as far as rules go. If we were cheating, our recruiting would be much better, and the amount of guys drafted would be much higher. Has a Huggins recruit other than Ebanks ever been drafted? Ebanks also only fell into our lap because of the Kelvin Sampson fallout at IU?

Not sure if ANYONE is "pure" in college athletics, but that being said, I do not believe that Huggins is paying his players. I REALLY don't think he would allow anyone one the program to "guide" players the way that the FBI documents are showing these other coaches did. I like to believe that he truly cares for his kids and wants what is best for them (which is the exact opposite of what these other coaches did).

How would you know that our recruiting would be better if WV were cheating? There ain't but so many top recruits to go around and then there ain't no more. Cheating or not cheating. Warez

No head coach has complete control of his staff. Very few coaches have been the head coach of major programs like WVU since the rise of apparel companies.

No program is safe and in the clear. No way anybody can predict where this will lead.
