I don't recall this, like at all.

MKG wasn't so much a flopper, he'd embellish the hits/bumps he took. Guy could make an "and 1" feel like he may require a wheelchair, only to get up, hit the FT, then get a steal and throw down a vicious dunk. Kind of the Jim Brown approach to basketball. For those too young to know of the story--HOF RB Jim Brown was known for looking like he'd never get up, slowly walking to huddle and then busting another dominant run. Rinse/Repeat. That was MKG in basketball.

so much **** talk from Knoxville last year; The results are in, they didn't make the Elite Eight. Barnes nearly left (and has no loyalty to puke orange.) Will they even make the NCAA next year?

MKG was a big actor on the court. every time he was touched he acted like he broke a bone... Dont remember anyone complaining about us using that to win a title.
MKG would drive to the basket, get contact and maybe stay on floor injured only to come back and play with his hair on fire.....but I don't remember him jumping up under dudes to fake charges, I don't remember him fighting for spot in post and flailing his head back to draw a foul, I don't remember him hooking dudes arms while fighting for rebounds and them jumping under the basket in un-natural motion to draw a foul.

Can you show me replay's that MKG did those things....because I can easily show you multiple of Grant Williams doing all these things I just posted.

Kenny Payne was talking about MKG post game of the VMI game back in November and laughed at how MKG was always trying to over sell the calls by acting like he was dying on the court. The UNC game comes to mind where he drove the lane and had the ball slapped out of his hands and MKG. Went down acting hurt for a minute then got up like nothing was wrong and went about playing

Just plays like that. We had Briscoe and Ulis who snap their head back a little bit to sell contact ...

Grant Williams does it non stop but we’d of loved to have him on our team and you guys wouldn’t voice your opinions of disliking it while he was here .......... quite frankly because people are too chicken to call out our own players on these boards or else they are labeled LOD

I'll have to see if I care enough to get some replays....I do remember though MKG more than most players needing to lay on the ground longer than most guys and then going full force the next minute.

But to compare a key cog on NCAA champ, one of the all time hardest players to maybe the worst flopper outside of the Dukies....isn't going to get even the most even keeled UK fan to agree.

Dude sucks. Can body people and get whistles in college but has no skills. Gonna suck in the NBA. Glad he’s leaving but he’s gonna drop to 2nd round and never be heard from again.

Bone is their best pro prospect. He gone. Admiral could maybe make it in the league. Williams no chance.

He had 14 pts and 4 rebs in the scrimmages in 40 minutes. Not exactly the best numbers against fringe players.

He will struggle in the NBA like Corliss Williamson, he is undersized and not very athletic.
