Congratulations Grant,maybe the classiest guy ever from Duke,him or Battier for sure..injuries kept him from being one of the all time greats
If it wasn't for injuries, Grant would be a top 15 NBA player EVER.
IMO, he would be in the same tier as guys like Bird and Magic Johnson.
I have MJ, Lebron, and Bill Russell on the top tier.
Grant would be in tier 2 along with Bird, Magic, Kareem, Wilt, Shaq, Kobe, Duncan, Hakeem, and a few others.

Grant and I are the same age. We went to Duke together, he as a student and me as fan. My favorite Dukie ever. Congrats #33.

BTW, I know I recommend this often, and I am not even sure where to find it (sorry, I am not too knowledgeable about streaming and all of that)... but if you can find the Oprah Masterclass on Grant Hill, WATCH IT; one of the absolute best pieces I've ever seen on one of our guys. An hour long, went way beyond basketball, and REALLY gets into detail about his injury... it is STUNNING how close he came to dying!!!
