The Greatest Generations failure to properly raise the Boomers is going to be what undoes this country.
I think the damage is already done. There is a remnant that's been saved but a vast majority are hopelessly lost.
We can't survive unless they too are rescued but I couldn't begin to give you a blueprint how to do that.
Let them go hungry for a couple days .
Thank God I was raised dirt poor .the only thing I had handed to me was a shovel & a opportunity.

Right. It is the parents of today’s kids that are today’s problem. The boomers may have been a problem but they aren’t calling the shots anymore.

Exactly. It is todays parents and their kids that are the problem. Any dmaage the boomers did is done and they aren't the group calling the shots today. It is our generations that are the problems.
There's a significant difference between me and my brother 2 years younger and our youngest brother who's 11 years younger than me. The two of us were born in the 70's while our brother was born in the 80's. Something so significant happened in the 90's that our worldviews are completely incompatible with each other.

Boomers started the whole take it easy on them philosophy, next generation just took it one step farther. Add in the idea that both parents have to work & we have a generation that schools and the internet is raising.
While this is an observable truth. It really sucks that we're going to have to be the ones who see the hard times that the weak men created.
If I can weigh in here quickly heading out the door for 11:00 AM Sunday services...I'd suggest we as a nation have turned our backs on Almighty God's instructions for how we are to live. The Founders rightly pinned our individual Freedom and Liberty at his doorstep, but with that Freedom to self govern and Liberty to make decisions in our own best interests, there MUST be personal responsibility guided by moral standards which we all agree to live by! It's the only way to guarantee each other's rights and keep us from descending into moral anarchy which we are on the cusp of today.
OK...off my soap box. Going to Worship and Pray for this nation because aside from a few rotten apples, it's still the best place for Freedom and Liberty ever known to mankind.

As a country we have let our elected officials ***** this country out to the highest bidder.
True dat. We have a built a constituency created by those bloodsuckers who come with outstretched palms looking for OPM's to be given away. I've always said what we fight against in Washington D.C. isn't corruption, or power, or even malfeasance. What we have is a fight over a big pile of money that gets confiscated for the ruling elites, and who amongst their political favorites gets to spend it?
