The entertainment business is no place for politics. Until the entertainment industry refrains from politics I will
Refrain from giving them my time or money.

Im always perplexed how the entertainment industry cesspool thinks it has the moral authority and credibility to tell anyone how to live or do anything?
Myley Cyrus is in a thought leadership position on anything other than how to make millions selling yourself?

They are so out of touch- it's beyond comprehending
Yep it is flat out plain weird, talk about living in a bubble these people and professional athletes make millions to entertain us - I do not want that to even hear their views - they should keep them to themselves. The same way as I would not want my car mechanic preaching politics to me when fixing my car

Word UP!

I'm always perplexed how the American Government cesspool thinks it has the moral authority and credibility to tell anyone how to live or do anything?

Politicians are in a thought leadership position on anything other than how to make millions selling yourself?

Giacomo Casanova (number of conquests: 122 women in thirty-nine years), the Venetian gambler and libertine once said, "But all the French ministers are the same. They lavished money which came out of other people's pockets to enrich their creatures, and they were absolute; the downtrodden people counted for nothing, and of this course the indebtedness of the state and the confusion of the finances were the inevitable results."

This is true of our own gov't today.

Aren't most of these award shows self awarding where they vote themselves the Winner? I have no interest in watching self promoting there music and political agenda, most of there music is terrible except with the help of electronic synthesizers,I highly doubt anyone would buy Miley Cyrus's music if she had to record her songs in the era of Diana Ross Marilyn Mccoo and Patsy Cline

What were the political statements? Do shoot unarmed black people or dont be so rapey? Seems pretty universal

Do you have a problem with the "times up" and "me too" movements being important aspects of shows like this?

I feel similarly about pastors, preachers, and priests.
You attend church to hear that stuff by design- mostly from guys trained in that field

Our entertainers are paid to entertain- and most have little to no education or expertise in economics or politics. TO have Hollywood which is knowingly knee deep and profited from this filth and has been for decades- telling us how to live- is absolutely laughable.

This has been going on since the early 1900s, so we should be used to it by now.

Man, Diana Ross is amazing. Actually, love most of the stuff coming from the Golden Age of Motown.

IMO they can do whatever stupid, political crap that has nothing to do with the actual music they are patting themselves on the back for they want. Just don't expect anyone that isn't full up on estrogen to give a flip.
