As bad as I hate working in a steel mill, well any mill , I may maybe heading there to work.
Would rather work in a steel mill over a semiconductor plant

I would advise good welders to be looking out for the ship building jobs that are coming. I don't see either place you mentioned hiring any welders?

Fck shipbuilding pay sucks . That would be my last resort. Worked at the shipyard years ago and left for a nasty *** paper mill.
Semiconductor plants is hiring welders in Columbus daily . If they are putting 14 billion into us steel they will most definitely hire welders by the handfuls.

That's weird. I knew welders that made top pay working on building ships and submarines. Don't know anything about orbital welding semiconductors.

I did the shipbuilding in my apprenticeship when work was slow in the pipetrade. Most of the welding is mig and that dont pay much . Its a living and a good one if you work massive ot. Some contractors do piece mill pay ,again not bad if they have good fitters and the welding machines aren't junk.
Any monkey who can program a machine can orbital weld but the pay is good in most areas we generally dont call that welding.
I learned it because for awhile in the VA area they was building semiconductor plants .

Underwater Welders are going to be in demand in the coming years. If a 18 year old who likes travel and adventure and wanted to learn the skill I would point him to the Navy for one enlistment. Do your four years. Lots of opportunities will open up after that.

They make bank that's for sure .
When I was younger was excepted in the classes for it but I'm not into diving. I already had several welding procedures under my belt so they let me weld semi submerged with the rod and it didn't weld much different.

I know guys that took the route I recommend. They did an enlistment learning the trade letting the Navy teach them. Then they got to work all over the world. Tax free opportunities making 150,000 plus a year once they got really good at it. They would bank most of that and live of the rest. Once they got older due to the fact it's harder on their bodies they switched to teaching, QA and supervising roles.

If you are young, want to be a welder, and travel the world. It's a good path for someone with that mindset.

You called yourself a Communist/Socialist in other threads. But like I said numerous times. The Neo-Marxist and Neo-Nazis are working together. They even work with the Islamic Jihadist.

Pals with neo-Nazis

One of the people Crooks interacted with online was “Willy Tepes,” a member of Norwegian neo-Nazi group the Nordic Resistance Movement, which has since been designated a terrorist organization by the State Department.

Tepes encouraged violence and Crooks’ extremism, using a Maoist phrase, “Political power comes from the barrel of a gun,” which Crooks repeated several times.

In one comment on Oct. 5, 2025, more than a year after Butler, Tepes commented to another user that he had been contacted by both Russian and American intelligence.

Just NOW, the FBI arrested Judge Hannah Dugan out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin on charges of obstruction — after evidence of Judge Dugan obstructing an immigration arrest operation last week.We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest. Thankfully, our agents chased down the perp on foot and he’s been in custody since, but the Judge’s obstruction created increased danger to the public. We will have more to share soon. Excellent work

BOMBSHELL: Here is the entire opening statement from CIA whistleblower James Erdman lll. He testifies that Dr. Fauci's role in the COVID cover-up was INTENTIONAL.

He stacked the intelligence community's analysis with conflicted scientists funded by NIAID who pushed the natural origin lie while obfuscating facts around a lab leak from Wuhan, China.

CIA managers retaliated against analysts who refused to go along with the middle-of-the-night rewrite that buried the lab leak conclusion.

Wow.

He got a pardon. That doesn't prevent States from taking action. Call your Governor.

He was more than FOS. Maybe listen to the videos posted. Intentionally as in knowingly did some corrupt stuff.

I know he (Fauci) got a pardon (Biden et all knew about all of this caca too) but he wasn't the only one participating in this Covid scam! What's the point of these hearings exposing what most of us already knew (that this was nothing but a giant scam) if there aren't going to be any folks indicted or prosecuted?

I'll celebrate once folks start getting jail sentences. Right now, it's all just shock & awe. Most of us who were initially skeptical of the entire Covid hoax knew instinctively it was nothing but a giant scam. Now we have proof & confirmation...big whoop!

Time to start the prosecutions!

That's one below. After seeing today's hearing the Democrats failed to show up to. I agree. We need to see more. Fauci got a pardon. So that would need overturned by the Supreme Court most likely. Until then States can take action.

The testimony was a big deal. Not worthy of black pilling.

He has to accept the pardon, which he hasn’t done yet because he’s not been forced to. I’d be fine with dropping it after that, but I want the little twerp to have to acknowledge he needs one.

All that will have to be fought in courts. States can move forward right now. No waiting or fighting the autopen pardon.

What is "black pilling" (I notice you accuse others of doing that frequently...what is it, or how am I doing that?)

Gunny my friend, we've been getting "scammed" by more than just this Covid caca. Why are you so surprised over any of this? Fraudsters have been siphoning money from us through the deep state for decades...decades!

You know this, and yet here we are. Who's been arrested or prosecuted over what we already know? Be honest. OK, so now we have these hearings finally exposing lots of it, do you honestly think anything is going to be done to stop it? When is someone going to jail? When will there be simply prosecutions for all of these folks who've been stealing literally billions from us for decades?

I'm hopeful this is a start.

Chairman Comer Taps Rep. Gill to Lead New Task Force on Exposing Institutions Seeking to Undermine American Government & Society

excerpt:
“Americans deserve truth, transparency, and justice,” said Task Force Chairman Gill. “They are sick of being defrauded by government institutions and programs that should have been putting them first, not robbing their tax dollars.
