You can't unless you are truly committed to it. Or ebay for around $1000. You have to stalk all the retail stores for drops and you have about a 15-30 second window to buy one.

There are some Twitter accounts to follow that are good about posting when PS5’s are in stock at various retailers, but they go quickly and it requires a little bit of luck and creativity.

I was actually able to track down one for a family member and one for myself back in January/February. One was directly through Sony and one was through GameStop. You’ve just gotta be persistent about it.

I got lucky and stumbled upon one last November (with the help of a friend who happened to work at a particular establishment that got a surprise shipment in). And if you can find one, it’s absolutely worth it. They’re bad *** machines, man. And you’d be buying one at the perfect time, because due to COVID, good games are really just now starting to come out.

GTA 6 is going to be incredible on it. RDR2 is also one of the best games ever made. It’s unbelievable.

We were trying to get an Xbox Series X for my son last Christmas and had no idea how much of an impossibility that was going to be. We found out that the local gamestop was supposed to be getting a couple, but there was no way I was going to wait outside the store all night on the chance of possibly getting one. I was also not going to pay these ridiculous prices that these scalpers are asking. We just decided that we'd get it for him when they were available, but I didn't know when that would be. Well after Christmas, I went to gamestop one day to take back some games I had bought and just sarcastically asked if they had any Xbox's and to my surprise, they said "yeah, there's one right over there". I was shocked and bought it on the spot. They said that someone had returned it about 45 minutes earlier.

BTW, MLB The Show 21 is available on xbox also.
