Anyone watching game of thrones tonight? Just finished rewatching season 7 and a couple from season 6... so many great episodes! Will be fun to see how it ends.

They're so far ahead of the books at this point, it seems like they're just trying to squeeze enough plot out to close the TV series. At first, they were content to just slow down and use what filler they could, but Martin still couldn't get over his writer's block or whatever, so now they're in hurry up mode.

Pretty lame that they spent an entire season wasted with the Faceless Men, or the torturing of Reek, and then the final battles against the White Walkers and for the Throne are going to be shoved into six episodes.

With only 6 episodes I expected a bit more. Nothing really happened. They have had what 18 months to really nail 6 episodes and end this thing with a bang. I know we have 5 left but so far disappointing. Plus didn't we hear intially they were taking so much time because they were basically going to make 6 movie length episodes? Last night was 66 minutes.

5 episodes* If they have much interaction in the next one even. To be fair some of the episodes are going to be almost feature film lenghth at 80 minutes.

I for one can't wait to see how this ends.... Anyone want to take a guess as to who sits on the Throne at the end? Will there even be a throne at the end? Gendry is my sleeper pick to claim the throne. Loved the final scene when Bran was just sitting there with the creepy, FU stare down of Jamie! Gonna be a fun ride the next 5-6 weeks!

Keep in mind, a few of these episodes are going to push 90 minutes. They basically had to set everything up for the big battle in Ep. 3 coming up.

Here are some takes I think could happen.... The Spiral symbol being left by the white walkers, is very similar to the Targaryen symbol with the dragon. I think the Knight King might be Denaryious' dad? I also think the weapon that Arya wants made is designed for the Knight King.... She will throw it, fully expecting him to catch it, but then the end that is seen in episode 1 not attached to the shaft anymore will detach and kill him? Just a couple wild guesses? What do you think?

Last night was a rehash/setup for the entire season... it's been off for so long they had to have an episode to bring people up to speed again and to answer nagging questions which is about what I expected... From this point forward it should be intense
