I noticed that tonight, too. However, I wonder that even if you have the offensive players spaced on the perimeter, why not have a couple of extra players besides the 5 crashing the glass...especially weakside.

There may be a good reason (transition defense, etc), but it's a question I'd be interested in hearing Pope answer.

May be, but he may have never been taught how to rebound with two hands plus he just does not jump very high.
