If we can get a draw at Honduras and a win at home against Costa Rica, we should finish at the top of the region (which really should be a given by now instead of a very close finish). At the very least, a draw at home against Costa Rica would keep us in the top 3 and out of the 2-game play-in series with the South America #5 team, which right now is Argentina.

Mexico hosts El Salvador next. Costa Rica hosts T&T. If we reasonably assume wins for the home teams, we'll have to win at Honduras in our next game to clinch qualification and make the last game vs Costa Rica meaningless. Given how we're playing lately (we've been quite fortunate to even beat the bottom two teams), and that it's in Honduras, I doubt we win that one.

It looks like we'll have to get a result in the last game to qualify. I'm not liking that. We've looked poor lately. And I don't trust CONCACAF referees.</p>
