Wright is a game changing point guard and in order to recruit him away from his current school, you'll probably need to pay more. Personally, I want UK getting the best talent possible and not settling for 3rd, 4th, options.
Also, if UK had played more consistent and won more games this past year, you more than likely don't hear anyone saying 'UK overpays for everyone'.
