He's pissing and moaning about a 20 year, $28 million deal. And I don't think the details have been released yet regarding exclusivity. Hobbs could invent a cure for lung cancer and he'd probably start a thread titled "Hobbs Has Done Nothing to Cure Prostate Cancer". .

So can Hobbs initiate a naming order so timely? Rutgers is now getting every revenue, plus incentives, knowing it's even less likely as sponsorship help

Hobbshi_ is an aviatar for our AD. And he’s named after our stadium. The T is silent. Oh, and your grand prize is a free TV set!! Cringe!!

I like a deal with Jersey Mike’s, but 20 years seems way too long. Imagine if he had hired Ash for 20 years.

Seems like we're tied in for too long. What if we win the national championship in the next 20 years? That's gonna be small potatoes for a championship home arena.

But at least the sponsor is nation wide (it is right?). Not like SHI. (Software Hacks International?)

Agreed. We will always call it the RAC. The press, TV, radio etc. will use the official sponsor name, but I don't think they will retire the RAC completely.

That is a great deal. Everyone is always going to call it the RAC. Only Rutgers announcers will call it Jersey Mike's Arena

Honestly not a fan of the deal (20 yrs seems long, not a JM fan, will always be the RAC)... But 💵 talks and 💩 walks so I can deal with it...

Are you nuts? Another Hobbshi_ fumble.
Jersey Mike’s Arena just rolls off the tongue for the next 20…20…20 years. If it’s an exclusive contract, it will hold us back for a generation. Bet we are getting hosed!

I’m no naming rights expert but 20 years is a generation. Read the article about the future of naming rights. If it’s exclusive, it’s definitely a bust.

Big difference. They actually call it call it the Comcast Center. The RAC will always be the RAC.
