Truthfully, of the Big East teams that left for the ACC, only Virginia Tech, Louisville have flourished. Miami looks like they may be coming back. Verdict is still out.
Id prefer to be in AAC. Compete with regional teams that are more on our level and maybe win some conference champioships.
ACC obviously would be a natural fit since most of its members were in the Southern Conference with WVU or were regular opponents of the Mountaineers and WVU fans could easily drive to many road games. But you can't join a club that refuses to invite you into their treehouse, as many children have learned early in life.
For now, let's just fix what broke with the current basketball team before March Madness comes along.

The AAC is too spread out.
There might be changes in that conference in the future.
That was for three years.
UNC invited you in because the SEC was created 20 years before and then they left in 53 to form the ACC
