More and more I think about it, Kiffin is not going to be a great hire for them. He will do ok, but never anything special. I don't really think he 'is' what they thought he was going to be. He's not a whole lot different from Moorhead honestly.

Don't worry. Mamas will be ok sending their son to compete under a coach that killed a player when Chris Partridge hands over a few Visa gift cards.**

They also hired Chris Partridge from Michigan and Joe Jon Finley from Texas A&M.

He's a definitive hard ***, but probably not a good one. There's a difference in being a Mullen like *** hole and a Durkin type *** hole.

No pants Lance (Thompson) may join that staff. They will pound JoMo’s yankee *** in recruiting.

It’ll be funny to watch Neal walk back his Durkin take from a year or two ago. He basically called Durkin a pariah and said he shouldn’t be coaching college football.

It's absolutely uncanny how despised this staff will be, and also how impotent MSU will be to capitalize on it.

If they can’t get him they may go after Zach Smith the Ohio State wife beater.

I don’t see how. Every recruiter is going to say, do you want your son eating breakfast watching serial killer videos? It could really be problem, hopefully.

He'll fit in great with a crowd that really isn't what they think they are anyways.

They’re trying to slowly open the door for Freesus’s return to the staff.

Whoever recruits O-lineman for us should be in every kid's house talking to momma about how Ole Miss' new assistant sat idly by why a player died. How does this not kill them in recruiting?

An honest question, as I have no intention of trying to defend Durkin or his hire, but why do you specify Off Linemen? Is it because that’s what the player at Maryland was?

The reason I ask that, is because if you’re going to play that card as a coach, I don’t see why you wouldn’t play it for every player.

Exactly because the kid who died was an O-lineman. But you're right. I'd make sure every recruit that we and OM are contending for had as much information about Durkin and that situation as possible. I honestly thought he'd never get hired at the college level again. Kiffin is stupid or desperate but neither is a good look.
