Gonzaga established their will and experience in the first half, and also maintained their composure at the end. We played well sporadically but not well enough to win. Credit the Zags for that. We will learn from this game and be better for it. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We showed a lot of heart (and a lot of talent) to get back in it, but Gonzaga played a great game and schooled us pretty good for much of it. Big time respect for their team.

Great game by Gonzaga. They deserved the win. Hope to see them again in March. One of those games where if we win I don’t want to run into them. If we lose, I want a rematch.
The Zags executed their game plan very well. They will get better once Tillie returns for them. Our guys will get better as well. I am glad they never folded and had a chance to win at the end even when they got down by as many as 16 points. Saw a lot of positives from Williamson, Jones, White, and Javin tonight.
Classy thread. Like Coach K said after the game, Zags got more experience, and dictated the flow of the game for a big cushion in the first half. Give all the Credit to your team for fighting back. It was a great college basketball game, perhaps we will meet again in March for a bigger Prize.
Gonzaga played great. Very balanced and impressive execution this early in the year. Even with Tillie, I don't think they could play a much better first 35 minutes. It was their Super Bowl, and they won it. Hat's off to Few and crew.

Scary thing is that their best shooter is hurt and did not play.They will be even more of a load when he gets back.Hope to play them again because imo it would be on the FF
Those zags were awesome. And they earned their win.
Was happy just having a shot at the end. Gonzaga waxed the floor with our guys and our guys never quit. This would have ended in a blowout with a lot of Duke teams. Great learning experience for a group of kids that have been told they can't be beat. They won't come home with a trophy, but they have no reason to be ashamed of their performance. On to Indiana.
I hope we only meet zaga again if its in the Championship game because they can certainly spoil our party.
This is what I love about college basketball. On any point, a team can get hot and make an upset. Experience and composure win out.
Zags tightened up the D in the second half. Creighton ran out of gas, and only have one reliable scorer in Alexander. Zags point guard Perkins was able to play with 2 fouls most of the game, as his back up Crandall is out for 4 weeks with a broken wrist. With Perkins on the bench, Zags struggled.
