Good for the rivalry

I said the same thing to my Louisville friends after the football game. The rivalry needed this and the added heat for next year. The Louisville fan was getting apathetic to it like we had been getting on the gridiron.

All in all it's our first true road game and the kids looked rattled at times. They will take a lot from this.

As much as I told myself the same thing after Tech beat us in football, it didn't help. It just sucks and they can go to hell.
Haha

Don't get me wrong. I'd much rather have the win, but in the long run the rivalry will get a positive return from the loss. I think it's a better rivalry than UNC/Duke and it requires both participating in the rivalry to keep it that way.

kyboy, that BS. I don't think a loss ever helps any more then a win. In fact, I think a win is better. You can show a player his mistakes on the tape, after a win, just as good as you can on a loss.

I agree with your premise. You just didn't comprehend mine.

I said it's good for the rivalry. They will take away a lot, I much rather it have been in a win.

OP, no offense but, you're full of ****. It's Louisville. UK fans do not ever suffer a loss to those cheating bastards well. If you aren't upset over losing to UofL then you need to up your fandom.
I honestly don't care about the rivalry or how UK losing helps the series. Screw that.

If the UofL athletics dept wasn't ran by a scumbag like Jurich and they actually had classy coaches then losing to them would be slightly bearable I guess. But they're cheating ethically challenged sob's that deserve to lose every game they play against us. There's no good in losing to that bunch.

The "rivalry" is not what matters to me, crushing the Cards EVERY time we play them and their traitor of a coach is ALL that matters in this "rivalry"!!!!!!

Can't call it a rivalry if the other team never win. Hopefully this will fire UK up.
