Great support for Bubba Wallace pre-race. Good race, great finish.

All of that with no other pro sports fighting for airtime.

Big day for those guys.

I think that noose **** was fake and setup.

I said what I said. Downvote away.

Last night, when it happened... it certainly felt like there were a **** ton of ESPN reporters who had something thorough to say almost immediately. I will eat every serving of crow served if they catch a guy and there is a significant punishment levied upon said person.

It felt very “Michael Sam gets drafted in the last round” to me... which I believe was 100% staged by ESPN.

How does one get to such a lowly place in life, that they are passing on links from the conservative tree house?

Just look at the photos and watch the video

I really hope NASCAR has camera footage from inside the garage. I’d also like to see the noose that was left in Bubba’s garage. Seems odd that they didn’t show any photos of it.

The set up part seems to be a little far fetched, but there is definitely reason to believe that the whole situation may have simply been misconstrued. If so, it’s then highly possible that everybody involved was just way too far down the outrage path to admit that a mistake had been made.

A couple things are starting to make me really skeptical about the whole thing. It just doesn’t make sense to me that we can dig up pictures and garage footage from 2017 in a matter of hours from all these garages, yet no one has anything at all of the incident from just a few days ago. No noose, no security cam of the incident, no still shot. Nothing

Now that the FBI is involved, it’ll be interesting to see if anything is ever officially released or if the whole thing just disappears

The red flag for me is how secure those garages are. Not just anyone can get in there. They don’t want other teams coming in looking at set ups or sabotaging equipment. Then you throw in it happened apparently when no one was there. That place was locked up. What happened to the camera footage?

I’m thinking it was someone on his team that did it on their own thinking it would draw more attention to the message. Or someone overreacted to something innocent and it’s too late to go back in it now. Guess we’ll find out soon.

Typical personal attacks. But the reality is those garages are full of cameras and they should already know who did it. Millions of dollars worth of equipment plus the possibility of tampering makes cameras a necessity. Fake false flag event ? I have no idea. Far fetched but wouldn't be the first time. Or second time

I think it’s time we all face the facts that we just may likely never know what monster threatened the life of Bubba Wallace in such a vile way.

I really hope NASCAR has camera footage from inside the garage. I’d also like to see the noose that was left in Bubba’s garage. Seems odd that they didn’t show any photos of it.

Maybe your last sentence answered why there is not garage camera footage released.

The FBI dos not release evidence during an investigation....

Why is the FBI investigating the tying of a rope? Even if someone did it to be racist or an ***, why does the FBI need to be involved in finding the prankster/racist/*******/whatever. Who gives a ****? Chicago had 14 murders over the weekend, and Seattle has whatever the 17 they have in CHOP, but instead of directing manpower to more deserving places, the FBI has boots on the ground trying the solve the "Case of the Mean Ol' Knot."

You think the SEC Defensive Player of the Year and a unanimous First Team All-American just being drafted at all is a vast ESPN conspiracy?

It's not really that far fetched. A reasonable number of these type of incidents are staged by somebody. No clue on this one obviously, but typically, the fake ones get outsized attention b/c the hoaxers go over the top on it and get ridiculous.

It was there in 2019, so gonna take a while to prove this was for Wallace.

Because the FBI doesn't have jurisdiction in local murder cases, and even if they did, they'd investigate them from their Chicago and Seattle offices, not from their Birmingham office.

Wow, Mike Skinner’s son didn’t pull any punches on his thoughts from Facebook. And I quote...

“Frankly I wish they would’ve tied [the noose] to [Wallace] and drug him around the pits because he has single handedly destroyed what I grew up watching and cared about for 30 years now”

Probably should’ve left that one off social media

That's a pretty terrible quote. For those who don't know much about NASCAR or Wallace, is there something else he's talking about?

Sheesh

Not a good decision. Bubba didn’t seem well liked by the other drivers before this incident, but that comment was not a smart move. I kinda get the feeling the other drivers view him like Danica Patrick. He’s only getting media attention because of what he looks like and they probably resent that. But if he starts doing swimsuit calendars, I’m done with NASCAR.

What part did he destroy? The racing part? I thought they just did that yesterday.

The other drivers? Other than the winless, racist, truck driver I think he has all of their support.

Is he pissed about the racist flag of our ancestors and their failed attempt to terrorize and destroy the United States? Is that the part that pisses him off?

Yeah, I haven’t followed NASCAR in years, but I was wondering the same. Even if Wallace is the biggest A-hole that ever was behind the scenes, that’s just not something to put on Facebook. It’s the kind of thing that may legitimately prevent Skinner from ever getting a reputable job again

As much as you end up locking threads, why not ban the biggest troll in the history of the board? And yes, I get I'm opening myself up for jokes about me being that same #1 troll, but damn, at some point, get rid of the guy. Takes one to know one I suppose. He's responsible for turning numerous decent threads into political shitstains. Just continually gets a pass, never adds a damn bit of content. Just look at his bait posts in this thread alone.

Abso-17ing-lutely. Go rewatch that broadcast if you can find it. I was watching it live for some weird reason and it felt completely forced. The broadcast changed completely as that pick was on the verge of being announced

L4dawg said he knew someone who had died from c19. Your reply as you posted above was "I wouldn't expect any less in an answer from you." I was happy to let it go at that, but you brought it back up.

Also, civil rights are covered by the DOJ. A potential hate crime would fall into their lap.
