Good luck to the Darkhorses. Defense ultimately wins championships so we'll have to see how the season plays out.
I remember being on the field last year for Crest/Shelby and the noise from the crowd grew to a point where it was nothing but a loud rumble. I talked to some folks that lived down the road from the stadium and it honestly sounded like thunder inside their house. The game was HUGE. Can you imagine how much bigger it could be if both teams can navigate their schedules to 10-0 starts? Gonna be fun.
Both programs are pretty loaded right now with lots of talent. Should be a good one.
Gotta feeling Shelby and Clinton are on a collision path again this year.
It is such a rare event I'm sure it does taste good hitman....There ain't nothing I like better than a good ole, come straight out of the pack, Burns hotdog after a Lions victory.
No, last year was a fluke...this year we go back to how things usually are in CC football...Burns over Shelby.
It saddens me, really it does Lawndog, that you and the Burns fan base will continue to suffer for your past transgressions. You again will be taught humility, through the suffering of another well deserved beating. Y'all should have embraced humility instead of arrogance when Beam was there. The foolishness of running around with your four fingers up has now become a thorn in your side. You had hoped the Golden Lion faithful would forget, especially now that your program is teetering on the verge of irrelevancy. But my friend we don't forget, and unfortunately for you and your fan base the suffering will continue. Soak on these words and learn from them, and encourage your fan base to think before they make this same mistake again. To give you some level of comfort, I don't foresee your program ever having to deal with this again.

Gee Burns folks get real with it....Shelbys talent level was down some those yrs and Burns had best it had in years.....Shelby 52 -14. This year...giving 14 till i see how D developes
Hit man c'mon man .....when has the Shelby fan base ever and I Mean ever practiced humility ? For many, many years you guys were way worse than the current crest fan base is now. I guess always playing for second place has brought u down some ....and why still so butt hurt over coach beam?
