Oh no, Kansas is going to have more wins that UK! How are we going to go on with life as normal? That's such an important topic that surely it'll be talked about 24 hours a day on ESPN, CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC & BBC America.
Good point I don’t watch those channels so it makes sense why this seems to be of more importance. I need to get connected with the real world sorry brother my mistake

Things we used to care about ... the things that made us Kentucky, being minimized. That’s where we are.

Spica in case it slipped by you THIS is a Kentucky Basketball discussion board, people don’t come here to discuss philosophy or ethics or the important issues of the day, we come to discuss Kentucky Basketball. I love it when you Cal homers are reduced to the “ in the big picture it isn’t that important”, it always lets me know that things are really hitting the fan and you have on real argument other telling us to shut up because we are being petty and juvenile for fretting about things that aren’t important

They just put 98 on Virginia.....................Virginia.

They scored 1.43 points per possession. They had an effective FG% of 69%, shot 66% from 2 and 50% from 3. They only turned it over on 10% of their possession.
Oh they also rebounded 30% of the few misses they had in this game.
Also 18 for 23 on free throws.

Far and away the best team this season. Tho I guess it's time to mention that the best team doesn't always win in a one and done tournament so we'll see.

They’re a very good team, but they won’t win it all IMO. A team with a breakout player or two will end up winning it. Could have been UK, but the coach has other priorities that are undeniable.

Trust me Cal feels this, as he’s got his. We on the other hand are a bunch KY hayseed redneck racists, but it is what it is. Move on everyone and drink your juice

Baylor is right at their level
Just like last year at this time, people were all over the Baylor bandwagon. Just like last year, they will take their share of conf losses and people will see how big a gap there is between Gonzaga and the next tier of elite teams.
Baylor with 1 win over a top 100 team this year per Kenpom. SOS of 178.

Kispert wasn't even rated in the top 100, Timme wasn't a 5 star, Ayeye wasn't even rated, Nembhard and Watson weren't 5 stars, Cook wasn't rated either. This should show you that you don't have to have a team full of 5 stars to have a good team. Maybe someone should tell Coach Cal that. These non 5 stars that a lot of you on here don't believe can play just laid 98 on Virginia, after hitting up Kansas for 102, and Iowa for 99. I seriously doubt that any other team scores that many against any of these teams. You can yell defense all you want, but the team that scores the most points wins every time. So go yell defense all you want, team with most points wins, and that is called offense.
Kispert was ranked 92 and from right there in home state Washington. Timme was 36 a couple years ago. Not about the stars. It’s about knowing how to play the game and having some skill. We have neither.

I honestly think the Zags could go undefeated.

It's possible. They probably played the bulk of their tough games already. They'll be favored in all of the regular season games left and then you have to assume with the overall 1 seed, they get maybe four tough games in the tournament.

They will go undefeated
Until the middle of the tournament they may since they play in a OVC-like conference. I can't name who will beat them right now but that team will emerge later on, the Zags can't win it.

A lot of people on here yelling that Baylor is better than Gonzaga, are not really on Baylor, they are just trying to convince themselves that Gonzaga can't play. These people are either blind or don't know anything about the game of basketball. Gonzaga is the most fun to watch team in college basketball, they play the game the right way, recruit players that know how to play, and how many stars they have doesn't matter to coach Few. He also doesn't recruit players with questional caracter.

Ok we shall see I disagree, they have everything you need. solid point guard, assassin shooters, bigs and glue guys and they can afford an injury unless it’s Suggs

I don't like any "secondary" teams as a UK fan. I don't roll that way.
I see that you know nothing whatsoever about the game of basketball. You probably need to go out in the woods and kill a poor dumb animal, because you don't know anything about the game, so watching the game played right is way above your mental capabilities.

Possibly but Baylors only significant win is Illinois. The Zags record is much better. They have beat #3 #7 #4 and #16
And have done so convincingly...Aside from the meh, 87-82 win over WVU. Everyone else they have ran off the floor.

We all love to switch rosters atm atleast in the win column and ranking. But they still have not won the natty. And Mark Few has been there 20+ years as HC and much longer overall. Last years team was a final four contender. And perhaps this zag team was as well. We lost everyone...they added lol. This year is just one of those bad moments of bad chemistry + bad shooting = bad losses.
