They are atheletic and have a deep bench, differnt guys scoring every night....they have a good inside outside game, essentially, they do a o a lot of what we do as a team...just not near as good. They are very balanced though and I could see them making a deep tourny run. I didnt really buy thek at first cause west coast teams are so brittle. If it wasnt for the cats, this might actually be mark few's year. Too bad buddy! Go Cats!!!

Meh, not very athletic. Sabonis and maybe one other guy is really athletic, the rest, not so much. They lack defense though, that's my big problem with them. History shows that when Wiltjer struggles, they have a hard time winning as well.

Gonzagas a pretty skilled offensive unit. They have a handful of better rebounders than you'd think/they're given credit for. About what you'd think on defense. I wouldn't be thrilled to meet up with them, but I'd be more worried about longer, more athletic/physical teams.

Duke gets to play Gonzaga or UCLA to go to the Final Four...think about that for a second. (gets to play oone of those two MOST LIKELY, could be UAB or Iowa lol).

UK gets to play KU, ND, WST or Butler. The committee and CBS love that 3/4 of those match ups are can't miss drama for UK, and hey, even if we get that 2011 title game match up we should have had, I think CBS can still spin it as great drama.

I can't think of a worse comparison. This is like comparing Wilt Chamberlain to Sam Malone. Their only similarity is that they play the same sport.
Gonzaga is the direct opposite of UK, out of the 32 teams left in the field there are 35 that are more similar to UK than Gonzaga.
-they are very UN-ATHLETIC
-They don't defend
-they play below the rim 1950's ball with a 3 point line
-have they ever converted an alley-oop?
-they lack the ability to run, UK wants to run like a team of gazelles

The Zag's are similar to UK in several respects: They have a large front line (7',6'10",6'9") and they share the ball. They are not particularly athletic and they are poor on defense.
Last year's WSU team and this year's Wisconsin team were/are tougher match ups for the Cats.

Duke has to get through SDSU and probably Utah first. Not as easy as most seem to believe.
