Probably. But today isn't a major - the real test will be next week. I'd like to see him win his first major.

I'm watching it delayed because of the Space X recovery coverage. Recorded it, and tennis ate into golf time quite a bit on CBS.

Justin Thomas had spectacular play around the greens. Watching him warm up on the putting green, it didn't look like he could make a thing - missed 4 in a row from about 5 feet. Apparently, he knew what he was doing though. He made Bones a pretty good payday too.

Phil did really well too. Maybe he can get another major next week before he heads to the Senior Tour for the most part.

Phil is not gonna play champions tour for a long time. He is too competitive on pga.

I agree. He'll play as long as he can walk the course and hit drives 300+ yards. Notice that right before he turned 50, he lost a bunch of weight and got himself in shape. He'll probably play a few tournaments with the seniors just because he can, and whenever the main tour has a minor tournament, but he'll mostly stay with the big boys.

Yeah....I can see him playing a couple of senior 'majors' but that's about it. But I don't see him doing that for another couple of years.

Brooks went for the win and hit the drink. Thought he might get this one.
Phil is awesome at 50.
