Let me preface this by saying that I think Will Rogers is a good QB, and that he will shred some SEC teams, including Ole Miss, before his career is over. Much to my chagrin, he’s getting better before our eyes.

With that said, anyone who’s watched Corral throw the football and watched Rogers, and still says they’d prefer Rogers is either:
1) lying
2) basing it on some “character” metric that’s laughable
3) is an absolutely awful evaluator and scout of QB talent
or 4) is so blinded by their fandom that their opinion has to be discounted

Corral is a talented QB. I don't think anyone on this thread has disputed that. But if you're here to state that the only time he's made an *** of himself during a game is the fight in the Egg Bowl, you're not paying attention when you watch him. He makes an *** of himself regularly. Granted, he's starting to smell the money, so he's backing off a bit on the assery, but that's his true character...no doubt in my mind.

You can call character laughable if you want, but character is why Dak is Dak and Chad Kelly is showing up drunk on random people's couches.

Character 100% matters. Especially at QB. I just don’t know of any character issues Corral has that would be an issue. I’ve asked, but no one else has provided any either.

So I just heard that he was named national offensive player of the week. I can only assume that the idiots who vote on such things do not factor in strength of opposition. What a joke.

I've always noticed how easily triggered he has been. That's not what you want in a leader at QB. He's good at running a very fast paced offense. It's funny seeing the hype machine though.
