They are just a tough team. Keep battling. Love watching them play. The Walkup kid is a beast. Plays so unselfishly and hard.

I tell you one thing, win or lose, the coach Underwood? Is gonna get some real offers after the season. As he should well deserved. I heard them say yesterday he had dreamed for so long as a D2 coach of getting to D1 and when he finally did at SFA he was ecstatic. Congrats to him and his team.

Underwood got Joe B. Hall award.

Didn't know that, but well deserved. He has been a great coach for SFA for the past several years. Seems to have exceeded expectations every year. Has put together a really nice group this year.

Wow. Complete BS. That is a tough way to lose. How often do those last second tip ins win the game. The kid from Iowa completely shoved the defender in the game the other night. None of that here but still a real shame. Was pulling hard for SFA.

What a terrible way to lose on a junk play. No idea why SFA didn't make sure they got 2 for 1 there. Their PG took a bad shot as well.

not to mention after that Jackson drove and defensive guy jumped straight up with him and if any contact was made it was made by Jackson and the ref waited to call the foul until he saw the shot was no good. He wasn't going to call a foul if he made the shot

Foul called on SFA on the Jackson drive was crap call. Once again refs taking over. Nice win by the ACC once again with the zebras help. Some things never change.

They cheated SFA. Over the back was bullcrap. Foul call 10 seconds later was bullcrap. That being said, Notre Dame made the free throws, played defense, rebounded, and made a basket. The Refs didn't help them do any of those things.
The bullcrap calls just opened the door. Notre Dame had to walk thru the door by themselves. It was orchestrated to perfection. Cheating by the Refs is subtle. Hard to see but it's there. A call here, a foul there. They work the percentages.

Good point. I thought the same thing. But you never see this strategy used in the college game and I don't understand why.

yep, SFA got cheated, but you'll take Notre Dame getting the W, they have a chance of beating UNC.

Well that sucked. So far of the 10 teams in the Sweet 16 only two, Gonzaga, and IU are outside the top 4 in their regions. Despite all the upsets we'll probably end up with 12 of the top 16 seeds in the Sweet 16.

I'm still pissed about our seed and our placement.

Pity this game got managed by the refs. It was a great game to watch and they eff'd it up. Walkup such a superb player and I would liked to have watched him play again. Two knee injuries in high school probably the only reason why somebody with his skills would play in the Southland conference. Watching him, no doubt he is easily one of the best players in the nation. Not just the skills, but knows how to go about his business. Better than most if not all of the players on our current squad. I said it.

Right out the gate, SFA was running plays that required every player on the team to rotate the ball, rarely touching the floor. Result - open look at the elbow. Good squad, very well coached. Would like to see that sort of action more often without having to watch other teams.
