Yes better for us if they stay up in the Quads, and also I like our odds against a 9-8 Minny team coming off a loss, rather than a confident one

Sometimes there are schools you can never root for no matter how it helps your own team. The cult like atmosphere there is so repulsive I don't think I could root for them if my life depended on it.
Under all but absurdly exigent circumstances we should delight in PSU losing. I am doubly psyched with today's outcomes--we won, and they lost!!! Yeeeeeehaaaaa!!!

ah fudge.....PSU really in a spiral with 3 straight losses, they looked great vs Iowa but quickly have lost confidence...lets not write their obit yet, last year they started off 0-10 in league play. I think its important for PSU to stay up high in the net and be successful because we go on the road to play them and if we can pick up a quality road win that helps us. Their next 4 are somewhat manageable relatively speaking....OSU, at Michigan, Indiana, at Nebby
Minny is 4-0 at home and 0-3 on the road. The RU game is the start of a really rough 4 game stretch...at RU, at OSU, Mich St, and at Illinois. They have some momentum right now but I think they are a cut below RU at this point.

I totally agree! We need separation. I wanted A Minny win and it happened. Then beat them at home. We need to stay atop the Conference with a little gap between the rest. The more gap the better when selection time comes around. We just need to focus on ourselves and that's that.
