I figured UNC would have trouble with this zone. However, I also thought that Syracuse would be able to generate more offense than they have. They might be in trouble. They need to keep this within 5 at the half to have a shot.

Cuse slowed it down and got some fouls in tough guy Bryce. They aren't dead yet but they need to play MUCH better the first 10 or its gonna get ugly. Its frustrating to watch Cuse play so undisciplined!! UNC just has an absolute stable full of big men. The future #1 pick Joel James even showing his range ;)

Potentially. But you would have said the same thing in the 'Cuse vs UVA game. After watching that, I am not going to rule 'Cuse out just yet. They are playing good defense. Just been terrible on offense.

UVA can be stopped offensively. The Heels can't be for sustained periods of time. They rebound too well and get such easy shots. That's hard(er) to come back from. Syracuse would need to shoot a Villanova-like percentage in the second half just to make it interesting. Not impossible....just incredibly unlikely.

I'm afraid DukieJay is right. UNX 0 for 10 from 3 pt range and up 10 pts at halftime. I don't think this team is like Jimmy V's cardiac pack. I just don't see Cuse being strong enough offensively to come back.

UNC is looking good right now. Still, I have to disagree about it being over. Sure, the Heels may win by 30, but I've seen too many games to give up just yet. If the Orange can halve this deficit by midway thru the 2nd half then anything can happen. Momentum is a funny thing. Go Cuse!

Alright, I concede. Really wish Gbinije wouldn't have tried to throw the game today. Just terrible.

It's making me sick. It's just about as bad as Duke losing. It makes it worse when you live where I do and there are tar heel fans everywhere. There are heel fans popping up everywhere that I haven't heard from in a long time that I had forgotten they where unc fans. OFC

Like I said....you're forced to get too many stops when you fall behind against the Heels. Syracuse got three in a row and made a mini-run. Now UNC can't be stopped again.
