Should Martinez try some or at least one glove? Seems to have some uncharacteristic misses. Big Ben and Brady do it sometimes. Maybe needs em?

I hate to say this, but it appeared to me today that Martinez wanted no part of being out on the field today in this weather. Maybe it’s just me, but he looked like he didn’t want to be there.
Question is... Is it because of the weather, being constantly hit by this defense (Davison has been saying on the radio he was hit most of the first 12-15 times he threw the ball, stopped mentioning it after the roughing the passer), or both?
He played well enough to win, but I think something wasn't right with him. Cold virus, perhaps? Maybe not feeling too good.
I think he's a finesse player, but you're right, something might not have been right with him, more than playing in the snow and cold type thing. He looked real pumped with the win though
It’s pretty cool to bash our qb in every thread, after a win. You’ve been waiting a little bit for this opportunity, since he’s been playing well ever since you looked like an idiot saying how bad he was earlier this year.
His prerogative. Sure seemed like some odd balls he threw today. Hopefully doesnt come up again.
I agree something looked off today. It was probably his worst personal game since Michigan. He didn't seem to have his normal touch or pocket presence. He seemed to not want to get hit (I don't blame him as freaking cold as it was) and was getting the ball out way quicker than normal. It wouldn't surprise me if we find out after next week's game that he had an injury of some kind because he was not his normal self today. Crazy what a standard he's set for himself.
Regardless, he helped get the team a win and has been great all season. As weird as the weather conditions were, I really can't fault any player if they weren't totally into it with only pride on the line.
Something looked off... not to be a smartass but it was a little breezy. I don't think he's a pansy or anything, but if you haven't played in that weather before there's definitely an element of "HOLY SWEET EFFING JEEZUS ITS EFFING COLD". He seemed to adjust.

He's a young man from California. The last couple games will get him acclimated. He's likely to be drafted in a few years by the Browns so ...
A windy and cold game against one of the hardest hitting defenses will make you look like a freshman sometimes, which he still actually is.
This. Martinez is not God. MSU had a good pass rush and rattled him early. That white DL they had Willekes or whatever his name is actually had a hit on Adrian very early that should have been a personal foul. Drove his full weight into Adrian's chest after scooping him up and dumping him. That guy was dialed into Martinez all day.
Wasn't there a play that should have been targeting against MSU on a hit on Martinez? Sure looked like it to me
May have been the same play I'm thinking of. Guy's helmet was awfully close to Adrian's chin as he drove him into the turf.
