It's like when the alarmists talk about hurricanes and heat wave being proof that climate change exists.

Its not about hurricanes and heatwaves. It is about every weather event we have being catastrophic. One of the hallmarks of climate change that has been discussed is more frequent and severe extreme weather events. If you cant see that idk what to tell you.

So when we have a couple of years where we don’t have extreme weather, that means nothing. When we have a couple of years with some catostrophic storms then it’s proof.

There is science to use, the problem is that you all try to shoehorn stuff that doesn’t apply. This where you all **** up. You have no tangible solutions. Want me to get on board something? Clean up the fvcking trash island in the Pacific. Hammer the **** out of China, India, and some of the other main contributors of pollution. Don’t let them half step while the rest of us have to take full measures. Bust their *** equally as hard and I’ll be more inclined to get on board your cause. Level the playing field. This was my main opposition to Paris.

I’ve become numb to the overdramatization of global warming, climate change, and extreme climate change. Your messaging sucks.

This has been hashed already.

Regardless of my own personal beliefs are, I’d use whatever means necessary to get what I needed and if that meant capitalizing on the Cause du Jour to get it, then I would. The mere fact of using global warming as a trigger is not indicative of his belief. It’s simply indicative of a saavy businessman.

Wait wait wait....but...why would he need sea walls if erosion due to rising sea levels wasn’t happening? Haha. Back to the hashing board.

To curb natural tidal erosion? It’s a thing, unrelated to rising sea levels. Wanna try again? I got faith in you, take another swing at it.

A saavy businessman? As you know , the sign of a good businessman is hiring good subordinates. How is he doing with that?

Donald Trump cited "global warming and it's effects, including rising sea levels and water erosion" in the application.

I know, you’re not breaking new ground. As I said, I’d cite whatever I needed in order to ensure I received my variance whether I believed it or not. You really think he operates in absolutism? You guys are all of the sudden applying logic counter to everything you charge.

Let me make it simpler, know your audience. If I’m concerned about coastal erosion, instead of having studies done to measure the erosion over X period of time, I’ll just cite global warming. It is after all, settled science within the community of individuals I’m applying for my variance.

Haha. A savvy businessmen would not have built his golf course where it would have been so easily affected by “tidal erosion” which is totes a thing that isn’t impacted at all by sea levels.

Do you realize what you are saying? Haha. “Unrelated”. Oh my. How do you discern the difference, champ?

Let me help you out because you are wandering out your depth here. A guy has a heart attack. Doc says well you were going to have a heart attack anyway eventually based on the average cholesterol intake of adult humans but instead of it being at around age 95 you had it at 50 becausse of your two Big Mac and Filet o Fish Daily diet. So no need to slow down on the Mickey Ds because the heart attack was “unrelated”. Haha

So, we've had erosion before?
Well, of course. And those pesky scientists are usually able to explain the why. And it is the why you deniers want to continue to ignore when it doesn't fit your agenda.

Damn, simple minded fools.

There are a lot who disagree with those who say what you believe. I'm not going to give my hard earned money to a bunch of stuck up, *** wipe liberal liars.

That’s...not erosion. Thats tectonic plate shifting. But kudos to you for being awake for that moment in geography class to at least think you had something to contribute to this discussion.

It’s times like this when things go completely sideways that it all becomes crystal clear as to how we have gotten to where we have gotten.
Yep, look at the kooks running for office on both sides. Especially the stupids on the far left.

He should listen to me, he might understand what liberals really want, make all your decisions for you.
I'm sure anyone who dislikes whole religions and ethnicities paints all liberals as the same, lol, know any conservatives that agree with me Trump is a second rate lying con man or do you think your side all agrees with you? looks that way on here though I will say.

Reason #1 to never respond to a Trolling post as a start of a thread.
I just don't want the OP's moronic post to be lost in the shuffle. My eyes glazed over about everything else ITT. It was really, really stupid.

last time I checked the United States was on the globe...I even looked last night to make sure revisionist geography hadn't changed our name......we're still there

So is Australia.

And at the end of the year we average everything out and we see that the average global temp has increased...thus the term “global warming” is and has always been accurate.

It was the simple minded folks who walked out on the senate floor with a snowball or started threads like this (or tweeted out some nonsense) who never seemed to be able to grasp that. Shame really. But hey...people are stupid. What are you gonna do?

You analogy is not good. You’re also lumping me in with the denier crowd, I’m not. I’m in the “you’re Proof that Trump believes in climate change because of X request for variance” is a retarded fvcking notion.

As for where I stand on climate change, I don’t care. You all beat me into submission or rather, ambivalence. I’m overcome with the collossal nature of it all and think we’re fvcked, so why try. I’ll work on keeping clean my area and trying to protect my fishing resources.

It was hard to figure out what you typed and thought. I don't hate any peaceful religion, ones that don't advocate that people have their heads cut off, or ethnicities that don't advocate marrying their sisters. Does Trump lie? Yes. Is hilliary a common criminal? Yes. A con person who's for sale and always has been.I'll support Trump, as long as he doesn't go off the deep end, and you'll still support a lying, for sale con woman.

Yes. You are absolutely out of your depth here. Thanks for sealing the deal with that response though. Oh you live by a sea wall? This changes everything. Haha jfc.

When we broke ground on our home we hit a 10+ foot coal seam. We had to spend nearly $20k extra to get my foundation in. We had to seal the coal off with a bituminous sealant. We had to truck in 550 tons of non-calcarerous river rock from the Ohio river basin because limestone reacts with the pyrite in coal. We had to layer that river rock in 6 inches at a time with a roller and have every layer tested with with a nuclear density gauge to make sure it was packed in sufficiently. Had to learn a **** ton about ******* coal. However, I am not a ******* geotechnical engineer and would never question one.

You live by a ******* sea wall. Hahaha
