I think Fort runs the Grinnell System, which definitely gives opportunities for high scoring games. Carroll County is an extremely good team though. Carroll County - last time I checked - is the top ranked school in Virginia in ALL classifications, including private schools.
It's definitely hard to say for sure, because anything can happen in a game, but I do believe this year's Carroll County team could play with and capable of beating any girls team in any division.
24-1 vs 25-1. Seems to be a pretty evenly matched game between two historically good basketball programs
Time will tell. The win over a good Pulaski team is certainly a sign that Carroll is legit, but Meridian rolled all of 3A last year and returned their top 7-8 players.
And they went out and scheduled about as tough a schedule as they could get their hands on. But playing at VCU will be an adjustment for both teams.

Carroll also beat Luray - the defending 2A champion - who has been in the 2A championship game the past 3 years - and is playing against Wise-Central for the title this week.
