Daniel Cormier (HC), Shawn Bunch and Kyle Crutchmer.....the new coaching staff at one of the top programs in CA.
In the article says that he has some academics to clean up, and plans to sign at the end of the school year. Not sure when that is in CA.Just noticed this thread and it reminded me of something. Was looking around a few weeks back to see which unsigned seniors committed during the regular signing period - that's when we missed on Jacob Butler, but signed Gavin Stika. Came across this February article about Tony Andrade giving a verbal. Haven't seen anything more, so I don't know if he still plans to sign. He is not in the Flo top 100, but he is weight class ranked by the various outlets. Won CA states this year at 195 and then NHSCA Nationals. Watched a few of his matches and he looks ok. Another football guy like Jalin Harper, so maybe there is some untapped potential there.

This article is the reason I said to watch the #1 seed at NHSCA which he won easily. Not sure why his commitment has stayed quite. He beat two rated guys to win CA state including Ryan Reyes. He has beaten Reyes who is a highly rated Junior three times. Seems to be a guy that split time with football and could really develop when he wrestles year round.
I didn’t mean for it to sound that way. I think you were right posting it for at least two reasons: it is information produced by a newspaper that disseminated the information to the public; and we are late enough into the late signing period that it couldn’t influence any 2018 recruits. It’s possible Andrade was quiet about it because he didn’t feel the need to pound his chest about committing to wrestling’s most accomplished programOh, oh. Hope I didn't reveal something that I shouldn't have. I didn't say anything about Travis Wittlake because nothing was published and he had previously verballed to PSU. This was in an article so I figured it was OK to share.
I remember you posting to watch the #1 seed. But I didn't recognize the name, so I figured maybe AJ Ferrari had switched his registration from NHSCA nationals to Folkstyle nationals.
You seem very plugged into what's happening in CA. Hoping with Anthony Montalvo, and now maybe Andrade, we are starting to make a pipeline there. Would also like to see us land AJ Ferrari and start making one to TX.
Plott and AJ both seem to be OSU ‘s too lose.Osudog, do you know if we are still looking good with Dustin Plott?
He looked great at the Junior Open. Hopefully our coaches are letting him know he is a top priority for us. Signing him, Daniel Kerkvliet, and AJ Ferrari would add some serious firepower to the lineup.
