The QB from Akron that was supposed to visit campus this week has canceled and will not be visiting anymore. Is this a sign we have another option lined up???

If rumors are true, they offered Myles Brennan from LSU the other day.. Maybe he is salty about that or maybe as mentioned above was told not to come.. Who knows anymore

I'm pretty sure college guys can play forever now. Or does it just seem like it? I'm probably just bitter because my son wants to play college baseball and so many, many coaches are like, "we're full."

Highly doubt he was asked to. I think it's just a matter of all of the fan criticism he's gotten and wanting to either be closer to his girl friend or back in California. He's been through a wringer and might want a fresh start. Amazing physical talent. Were his issues his QB coach, his injuries, or just too low of a football IQ. He's going to get a chance to shed some light on it for us.

Runor mill stuff, but I heard similar. Basically he didn’t want a portal QB brought in. But how can you guarantee that to a kid looking at a 6 month rehab?

College baseball is a different animal. They keep 30 players on the roster and those 30 players split up 7 scholarships. Even the elite players are only getting 50% scholarships. Most are getting nothing. The rosters are always full.

11.7 to be exact, but you definitely have to stretch the scholarships to fill a roster.
