First thanks for this post. It is a weird moment for us multi-decade Lions fans who simply knew we were always better than the bums from the Big 10. Now we allow ourselves to think we are inferior to these two schools who shouldn't carry our jock. I will say that the D-Line has stepped up and I do think Meatchicken will need to balance their attack this year if they want to win. We have a couple of kids who bring the violence (Carter, KJ, Dixon, Chop), but we will need 71 and 56 to finally play to Ola's level. We will need to help our 73 because that is where they will attack our QB on pass plays. We need Yurcich to attack the middle of the field with Theo and not Warren, and we need to win a few contested catches. We also need to throw to a running WR, things we once saw as recently as Chris Godwin. These are things that we once assumed from Penn State football teams, This team has not shown us that we can assume they will play like that. If they do, then it is onward and upward.

That said, PSU's stadium folks were blasting music through the speakers from the time UM came to the line, with 20 seconds on the play clock (at which time all piped in noise is supposed to be turned off), until just seven seconds on the play clock.

That happens a lot at Beaver Stadium (a lot, as in all the time). If that was happening to PSU at the 'Shoe, for instance, PSU fans would be (rightfully) screaming bloody murder about how unfair that was, and that the Refs should enforce the rules and restart the play clock.

They call it the high road because it's a pain in the *** to walk it.

These ******* fans deserve to be ridiculed to the ends of the Earth. But maybe we just let everyone else do it?

I know two michigan fans. Both are CFOs, one is my CFO. He brought it up this week and I had NOTHING to say except bummer, good luck. The other one is gun-ho on going to the PSU watch party he's attended with me and my parents the last two years. Both are good guys and I won't give them the business since they've never given me the business.

I'll take it on a personal level. The ones who ran their mouths deserve everything you can throw at them (mushy for example). I'm going to leave the nice ones alone. Golden rule.
