Me and my fiance are planning on getting married at the Chapel of Memoriesin August and are having no luck finding a reception location in Starkville. Everything on campus does not allow the use of alcohol and we aren't having much luck elsewhere. Any ideas?

Only catch with Hotel Chester and Hunter Henry are you have to use their caterers. We have a family friend who does catering and does a great job for more than half the cost they would charge. M Club prohibits alcohol for receptions but I do wonder if we could bring some in

Hotel Chester is the way to go. The last two weddings I attended in Starkville had their receptions at the Hotel Chester. Yeah, you have to use their caterers but that's not unusual.

and the best place for a reception on campus is the Bryan athletic building. You can have alcohol, but I am not sure if you have to be tied to the athletic dept to have a reception there. Definitely worth checking into though.

Get married. Get stable, save money (huge financial incentive for being married), and have more sex than you would single.
