Was it just me or did getting into the lots seem even more difficult than normal last night. I left the Brickhouse Tap, less than 10 minutes away, at 6:00 and barely got into my seat before tip off. I thought it was ridiculous the way it was set up.
I had no issues getting in or out of the parking lot last night.
Same here. It was a little tricky getting in but I think there was some unrelated police activity. Getting out was amazingly easy.I took School St- RT on to Suttons LT onto Rockafeller. Parked towards the back of the lot and walked. Parked by 6:30 and was in my seat by 6:45.
When the game ended, I walked back to my car and was out of the lot and back on School St fairly quickly.
That's correct. I learned that last night after sitting in the far left lane when I had to get to the APC. Next game I'll get there earlier that last night and also remember to get into the the designated lane on the right.Coming from Avenue E:
Far left turning lane = Yellow lot
Other turning lane = Deck/Green lot
No?
Yeah, my wife was yelling bear left there and I did what she said, so I was in the wrong lane for the green lotComing from Avenue E:

Shhh!Smooth sailing into one of the free lots coming in the super secret back way via Highland Park. Added bonus - little bit of a walk helped burn a few calories from dinner at Stuff Yer Face.
We are also in the deck. When we arrived, we followed the signs for the "walkway", that was a pretty long walk. We stopped in the APC and asked the security guard if we could cut through next time, the answer was no.Random question, but are spectators allowed to cut through the RWJBarnabas building between the APC deck and the arena? Given that the walkup entrance to the APC deck is on the opposite side of everything on campus, the walk to and from the parking deck just seems longer than it needs to be. Is there a shorter way?
Totally agree. My wife has bad knees and we were moved from the Green Lot to the APS. I was told it would be a shorter walk from the APC than the Yellow Lot. When speaking to my Ticket Rep. I got the impression that you come out of the parking deck on the side of the RAC. Total BS and totally pissed.Random question, but are spectators allowed to cut through the RWJBarnabas building between the APC deck and the arena? Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.We are also in the deck. When we arrived, we followed the signs for the "walkway", that was a pretty long walk. We stopped in the APC and asked the security guard if we could cut through next time, the answer was no.
After the game instead of retracing our steps, we exited the arena on the side closest to the deck and walked along the side of the arena and entered the deck from the front. Much shorter walk and since we parked in one of the first few spots on the ground level, we were out of there pretty quickly.
Last year there were no fans at the RAC because of the Covid..I thought they did a much better job last year with game day traffic, I felt like i was the only one on the road at times
Hence the humor. I thought it was a good one.Last year there were no fans at the RAC because of the Covid..
Absolutely...Thought this was easier than ever before!Coming from Avenue E:
Far left turning lane = Yellow lot
Other turning lane = Deck/Green lot
No?
oh! no wonder I didn't hit any traffic!Last year there were no fans at the RAC because of the Covid..
And here you thought you were just the savvy driver, didn't you?oh! no wonder I didn't hit any traffic!
agree with you about no knowing there were 2 lanes of cones however I saw that and stayed to the right and probably saved 15 minutes as I went right down Hospital road and into the yellow lotThe setup once you got off Route 18 was absurd.
I’ve never seen that many cones setup and they weren’t doing a good job of directing people into the 2 turning lanes.
I’ll chalk this up to being the first game but hopefully they figure it out by the conference games.
