The penalty happened in the 2nd quarter.
Isn't the rule that they are ejected for the rest of the game in that instance and if it happened in the 2nd half that the player is suspended for the first half of the next game?

Not sure what you're praying about, the play happened with 2:36 left in the first half. He will not be suspended the next game.

Not being an *** here, guess I didn't understand you're a little tender. I'll try to keep it in mind.

With that said, I'm sure you've watched the replay video more than a few times, on that video there is a game clock. That clock should have been able to put your mind at ease.
