Germany - Kentucky ( United States) Thread

Reeves will be our lead scorer many nights.

He's what we needed back. I love Thiero for his energy but man, without Reeves we'd struggle for half the year. Now we might actually be pretty good for the fall while the freshmen get their legs and get used to the college game.

Oh I agree we needed Reeves for leadership, 3 point scoring ability, and his scoring ability. The way Thiero keeps playing Defense, Driving , and Rebounding we are all going to be thankful that he came back too. We saw glimpses of this Thiero last year in the very few mins that he got.

Without Reeves and Mitchell this wouldn't be good.

But UK has them, so that's an irrelevant observation.

[Thunder Mash]

18 turnovers for Germany!? Oooof.

[*CatinIL*]

I'm listening on the radio...sounds good so far.

[ScottGreene22]

7-21 from 3
20 assists
8 turnovers
Not bad so far from the CATS

[pauled#1]

When Edwards, Shep, Rob start scoring, we get our centers back this has the makings of pretty good looking squad!

[kywildcat1021979]

Man Sheppard with some defense again…..

[Kentucky_SportsX]

Team is playing very well and the scary thing is we are missing some guys to injury. A full healthy team could be deadly……

[Lempface]

Shep is a pest on D, gambles a bit but that effort should have him on Cal's good side for sure.

[AGEE11]

The chemistry between Reed and Burks looks good.

Hopefully we get to keep that and watch it grow for 3 years at least

[WallMash]

Biggest positive takeaways: Theiro impressive with motor, rebounding, blocking, tough drives. Mitchell our three point shooting leader. And Reed can play D.

[Bluefaithful]

20 assists
8 turnovers
All you need to know

We are Kentucky

[BassProCat]

Reed boy ain’t playing around on D

[StubbornPenny]

Thiero isn't afraid of contact one bit now. That's big.

Very first game together not to bad…

[Son_Of_Saul]

Sheppard caused two perimeter turnovers.

Allen Edwards used to play perimeter defense like that, where he would try to outguess the offensive player and cause double dribbles when he would guess right.

[richbrookstomato]

Shep is a DAWG!!!!

[pauled#1]

DJjjjjjjjjjj!

[StubbornPenny]

Reed with a BLOCK on a 3pt attempt, very nice!

[UKAlum88]

Wagner is gonna be nasty!!

[Riddickulis]

Threeeee

[Son_Of_Saul]

Sheppard is an outstanding defender. I'm very impressed.

[Thunder Mash]

Reed's defense is fantastic.

[Ndub21ku_rivals]

This Germany team is really bad. Negative athletes.

[bbnkat02]

Reed is going to be fun and a fan favorite.

[StubbornPenny]

Wagner nails the 3! Shot still has a body hitch though. 68-52 cats!

[kywildcat1021979]

What a block by Wagner wow just wow….

[BassProCat]

Lets go Cats

Nah, we've worn them out. They aint great, but we've worn them down.

[StubbornPenny]

DJ was beat for an easy layup but NO, he blocked that ish! DOG!!!!!

[HagginHall1999]

Ummm. I think we are going to be good ....

[Lempface]

They'd beat us playing HORSE for sure. Other than that who is paying these guys lol.

[Son_Of_Saul]

Sheppard's defense today against Germany:

People keep talking about his height but he has a ton of weight on him too

[FanofUK]

Put Edwards back in pls

[UKAlum88]

He has tree trunks for legs! Lol

They can shoot!

[StubbornPenny]

Defense is much better in the second half, so much ball pressure!

[Kybluedude]

Let’s see Joey Hart. He’s another country boy who knows how to play.

[KentuckyDad_rivals217703]

This is so much more productive than beating up on trash teams in the Bahamas.
