Didn't Gonzaga only have 2 losses? Arizona had 3, but won the Pac12 and Pac12 Tourney - they should've been a 1 seed.

Today marked the third unranked team that Nova has lost to this season. When is the last time a #1 seed had multiple losses to unranked teams and received a #1 seed. No way Nova should have received a #1 seed.

The committee needs to realize the REAL big east doesn't exist anymore . I've seen Georgetown several times this year . They are about as good as Georgia or Ole Miss .

That makes sense. Ole Miss, who lost to 6th in the Big east Xavier, is as good as 3rd in the Big east Georgetown.

Once again, Arizona lost to 3 dog crap teams...eliminating them from 1 seed consideration. Plus, with the way they did it UK only has to beat one of them to win it all instead of both potentially.

I'd much rather play Duke or any of the other dog crap teams on that side of the bracket left than Arizona in the semis and then Wisconsin in the title game back to back.

Last year. Virginia and Arizona. In 2013, it was Indiana, Kansas, and Louisville. In 2012, it was UK, Michigan State, UNC, and Syaracuse- 4 for 4.

#1 seeds that don't have 2 or more losses to unranked teams are far more rare than ones that do.

A couple things:

You have to have four 1 seeds. You can't just say that only two teams are any good and make the rest #2 seeds. Someone has to get it. They had as good a regular season as you could expect a team to have.

Also, coaches know how to schedule in order to boost their RPI and other ratings. Georgetown usually plays a tough schedule, loses against most of them, and then wins 20+ games against the lesser teams. Gives them a good balance of wins and SOS. Then, they play those same caliber teams they lost to once the tournament starts and they go home.

Overall, it's pointless to try and use hindsight to seed a bracket. If there was a method that was full proof, they'd have found it by now. Instead, you're relying on college-aged players on the biggest stage of their lives in foreign arenas to play the way they did the other 30 or so times this year.

Duke this year had two to NC ST and Miami I believe.

Plus, Arizona had 3 against dog crap teams this year yet most on here think they should have got a 1.

UK in 2012 lost to unranked Indiana but Vandy was definitely ranked that year.

UK in 2012 lost to unranked Indiana but Vandy was definitely ranked that year.

Vandy was not ranked any of the 3 times UK played them, according to J. Scott's site.
