He was a CIA hack, did a lot of dirty work in his days, but yeah, the NRA was a problem to him. Hilarious.

That lady who posted the Tweet is a crackpot and apparently thinks Bush being a Republican means that conservatives are turning their backs on the NRA. She isn’t smart enough to look past the title to know that Bush was a neocon. They are not conservatives, more like Democrats who finally got tired of the Democrats ********.

Agree totally. He deserves the respect since he passed away. I tried staying away from politics but some people insist otherwise

The only point this mutton-head makes is that "climate changes" and there have been numerous periods of warming/cooling in history. Based on numerous factors.

Currently, we are warming, and contributing to the warming trend. Good or bad, that is undeniable, based on measured levels of carbon in the atmosphere, coming from man-made and released sources.

Why is this so hard to realize? That we can try to do things a way in which we burn less of these fossil fuels and emit less carbon?

Or do I have to listen to "Sweet Home Alabama" and bathe in my muffler to be a real American?

Again, I'm confused...

Whenever I need to get rid of motor oil, I just dump it in the nearest fresh water lake. Oh and always next to a duckling nest.

Well, they did cozy up to the Clintons and Obama's, so that got them into a better light.;)
That is a strike against them at my house....but oh well. The political games and insults people in power trade is just that. A game. They're all rich and famous now livin the dream. They get the best healthcare anywhere in the world for life at our expense. The perks of having been in power are tremendous. Sigh. We truly have a ruling elite.

Bush deserved a second term. An excellent President, and an honorable man.

As far as the above posts, the United States is an empire. We need to protect our interests. The documentary of war has damaged the ability for us to win wars because politics is a popularity contest. Alot of people die.

Nice trade deal with the Chinese last night IF the Chinese dump import tariffs and start buying US ag immediately.

Gotta hand it to the Trumpster, good deal, and he's leaving the 10% duties in-place until it gets ironed out.

Some welcome relief to the Heartland!

He was the first person I recall that used the phrase "New World Order".
That bothered and scared the crap out of me. I still don't like that phrase. Just makes me think there's this small group pulling all the strings. Hope u am wrong. I think all his time as an ambassador affected this. I just don't want a global society.

That said, he was a good man and a true gentleman imo

Sorry to burst your bubble about global warming, I've had several conversations with two separate people from seed companies, and they are higher ups in the seed industry definantly no grunts, they both told me that if there was anything to global warming they would be the first to notice it because of there research on seed corn, soybeans and others. But as of now they are staying far away from the discussion simply because of they don't want bad publicity coming from the environmentalists storm troopers. Those people do a lot of damage for the purpose of advancing there cause!!!! That it for what it worth, I'm sure you won't believe it, but just wait one of your states congressman is going to introduce large tax increases on energy in the name of global warming. all to enrich al gore Barack oboma the Clintons and ther cronies
I've talked to a couple climatologists and they told me this (which I wholeheartedly believe). All their research points to cycles. At the time they told me this, the media was saying there was little snow in the Arctic and the glaciers were melting and Greenland was melting. Well the truth was that they had to eliminate using snowmobiles at the weather station because there were acoupa c of accidents involving the drivers getting almost decapitated by power lines because the snow was SO deep. As far as Greenland and icebergs, it wasn't from melting. It was the fact that the ice was deeper than normal forcing ice to expand and break off. Record depth and width. Also the sea currents in the Atlantic went farther north and grabbed them taking them south as the circled back.

They both have talked at a global warming/climate change conference. Needless to say neither was invited back as a presentor. They said there is BIG MONEY in research and the only way to get that money and guarantee employment is to push the narrative. It's a cash cow.

They study climate and chart the history. Bottom line, they can't correlate any man made causes to the cycles.

Just passing along what I was told by two very high profile climatologists.

I think the worst thing about the whole "Fake News" thing and Trump is people feel emboldened to make up their own truths and actually believe the ******** they spew, or ******** from completely ridiculous and uneducated sources, because, well "Fake News Fake News Fake News!!!"

I'm going to get my doctorate in Fake News and just write a 50 page thesis of absolute drivel with no substantive references. I'll quote soybean executives and a couple climatologists aka local television weathermen. It'll be great!

That's a novel idea. IF someone questions you, how dare they. Just claim it was your nongender or transgender self and that's how you felt that day at that time. Seems to work.

Could you even class progressives as liberals? The liberals to me are more moderate than the progressives. The progressives seem more like a band of marxist radicals (similar to right wing neo nazis) who are hell bent on socialism and buying votes with the promise of a utopia full of free stuff. They don’t share the same view even though they share the same side of the spectrum.
True. Progressive=socialist=anti American because it goes against what founded and developed this country. Hard work and self reliance AND limited government. Plus freedom of religion not freedom from religion.

Do you honestly believe that we get solid news from left of right wing outlets? They’re nothing more than propaganda machines.

The political drivel from this board is sickening. You’re so dumb for supporting that guy. No you are dumb. No you are.

If you’re engaging in a conversation like this, you’re both not the smartest people.

I deleted all political handles on twitter because this **** gets old. Then I come to a Husker Board and still have to see this ugliness.

The truth is out there, typically it has nothing to do with Politics.

That's the problem. People ascribe "truth" to political views today, not facts.

Like Global Warming (or the Greenhouse Effect). Not climate change, not hot summers or cold winters. Hard core science. Carbon in the atmosphere contributing to warming with humans emitting carbon. We can't even agree on fundamental science, so that leaves everything else to be debated like a 4-3 or a 3-4 defense at Nebraska.

The truth is out there but the average person will not get it by flipping on CNN or “The View”, or even Fox for that matter. Those people will not dig for the answers so instead they feast on what they’re fed.

I get that news organizations have bias but anyone can see that where there is smoke there is fire when it comes to corruption inside the Trump organization. Guilty plea after guilty plea, the daily lying from Trump, the very clear ties to Russia. Stevie Wonder can see the shadiness. There doesn't seem to be any way this doesn't end poorly for those associated with this guy
