Im not even sure he should be fired now. This is the result of having historically bad offenses for multiple years and the head guy doing nothing. it killed recruiting for passing game skill players.
Nah, still fired. This is not right to have a guy with no wr background or coaching to get a gig at one of the top 25 schools in the US over the last 25 years.
Don't you feel kind of stupid now after calling out Barnett? His boys are finalists for the Joe Moore award. Not to mention a strong group behind the starters. The 2026 class is loaded with talent. George is getting it done. Averaging over 5.1 yards per carry.

Joe Moore Award has little validity placing this Hawk Oline in final 3. Above average at best. If not for Gronk turning broken plays into big plays, the rush game was garbage.
When you make these types of assertions your posts lose all validity, you might want to think before you post. The Joe Moore award committee is comprised of knowledgable past linemen and coaches who review hours of tape to select the winner each year.
Committee members such as Barry Alvarez, Jackie Sherrill and Lombardi award winner Aaaron Taylor are extremely knowledgeable and credible.

Hmmm....three Iowa offensive linemen are already on All-American teams. Stephens and Jones are unanimous so far. Not to mention Jones is a Rimington and Outland finalist. OP knows better though!
