I suspect his days are coming to a close at Georgia Tech. Not sure how he landed that job in the first place but it appears the pressures are getting to him. Doubt G Tech puts up with 3-7 records and coaches throwing tantrums after losses much longer.

He's just trying to fit in at GA Tech. Hell that was probably job security.

I have zero for him. He left us out to dry in the Orange Bowl because he and Mullen were sick of each other. Could have at least hung in for one last game. Screw him

Agree. I wish the same failures on him that I do Mullen. Ole lateral movers.

That rubbed me the wrong way too. We got embarrassed and marred a great season.

against that very same team ... He is from Atlanta and I was kinda pulling for him because I like Ga Tech but that's just no class at all - I wonder if he expects class from his players ?

lol 17 Collins. He’s a ***** and sucked as D-coordinator. I’m still salty his dumbass couldn’t come up with a game plan to get pressure on a one legged headcase QB that wanted to give you the football and a single tight end in 2014 Egg Bowl.

I thought he said he wanted to coach in the orange bowl and Mullen told him thanks but no thanks? Didn't hear that from a particular source that would know; just thought that was the story going around.

That was probably the worst loss in our recent history with as much as was on the line. OM lost 30-0 to Arkansas the week before the Egg Bowl and lost 42-3 to TCU the game after the Egg Bowl. In between they kicked our ***. Completely embarrassing.

Whoa now, don't go to far. Our defenses in 2013 and 2014 were very good. His problem in the Egg Bowl was that he had checked out, not his ability as a coach.

Mullen checked out before the Arkansas and Ole Miss games in 2017, and no one here would consider him a bad head coach.

They weren’t when it mattered. That 2014 defense was ranked like 86th in yards per game. A very overrated bunch. The offense lead that team.

Seems to me like it was the offense that couldn't score vs. Alabama or Ole Miss in 2014. Could a defensive stop or two won us one or both of those games? Sure. But looking at that only, is extremely short sighted, especially in the Bama loss, which was DEFINITELY the crucial one. Loss to Ole Miss after that, and we still go to Atlanta.

Bama loss was just devastating. We lost the SEC, playoff spot and the Heisman in that game.

Only blame I place in 2014 goes to Mullen & Josh Robinson for the ridiculous ***** fight the two started that destroyed our perfect season. Those two divas don't start a war with each other over two 17ing yards we make the playoff. Mullen is the bigger ***** for not allowing JR those two measly yards though. So close to 200 yards rushing vs Kentucky any sane human wants their star RB to get that. Not Mullen though. He burns down the entire deck of cards just to show he's in charge. What a *****.

The fact that Jrob isn't relevant to the game at all and Mullen is should say enough. For those with cognitive ability, that is.

Jrob was the prophetic cautionary tale that no one seemed to heed when Kylin Hill was signed.
