How much is he hurting? He’s a shell of himself. No shake and bake, abused on defense...ugh

Not just Geo. I have a feeling these guys are not as healthy as we thought. we talked about it here: https://rutgers.forums.rivals.com/threads/injuries-lingering.209186/ .

Look at RHJ. He's clearly not himself. This team hasn't fired on all cylinders at any point this season. They just haven't had the chance. If we could ever get to that point, we might see something special.

Both Geo, Ron and Mathis had zero energy and it showed in every facet of the game today.

He was way overhyped coming into this year. People set their expectations too high. Outside of a handful of memorable games where he hit HUGE shots, he was a very average to below average big ten guard last year
When healthy ( which obviously he is not) he is a very good B1G player who can/has won games all on his own.

I don’t agree with that. Last year he was an elite shut down defender. Made numerous steals per game. On offense when needed hit money shots. A leader on and off the court

This has nothing to do with ankles. Last year shots didn't fall and the team would go balls to the wall to get the offensive rebound. They would ramp up the defensive intensity and get that possession back. This year a couple shots don't fall and certain players begin pouting and becoming disinterested. This has everything to do with attitude. Kids began reading their press clippings and forgot what got them there. Intensity, not a scoring average.

Geo doesn’t have the same spring, quickness or speed. Kid is not a 100%.

He was jumping a foot above the rim last year.

GO RU
agreed and he turned his other ankle last game; Ron has not been himself since he sprained his ankle he has no hop in his step etc

What is your definition of a great player?Myles Powell was a great college player at Seton hall but failed making the New York Knickerbockers.Douby was the last great Rutgers player.

You know it when you see it . Douby was great . There isn’t a great player on this team right now . I still think Harper can be

When healthy, Geo can almost always get his own shot and can get to the rim. He has no burst or lift the last few games and is nowhere near himself. The idea he is just an average guard is absurd. Injured yes--regular no way.

Montez--Like his play in general but I have never seen anyone get packed as much as him. At least 3 first half and usually a few a game. It's really quite unusual for that volume for one player.

Geo is a good player. I just don't see the step back and the high jumping. I don't think either of his ankles are 100 %. I also don't think Ron Harper is 100 % since his sprained ankle and also don't think Jacob Young is 100 % since his hard fall to the floor. All of this affects our offense and our pressure on defense. Hopefully we can get back to normal real soon.
