If that’s true then no surgery required. About 4-6 weeks off and tons of strengthening around that joint should be good. That would be best case scenario tbh. I had a grade 2 MCL sprain my senior season. Now I’m a physical therapist working on tons of young athlete knees. Scary for him I’m sure. Hopeful this report is accurate.

Yeah the way he got rolled up definitely looked like one of those MCL, meniscus and ACL combo tears.
