I think he had two drafted this year???

One. But he was in the first round. Which might be great. Might also be as concerning as it is promising. One first round level NFL talent on your offensive line can certainly make you look like a great coach. Chicken or egg type situation. Did he make that player or did that player make him?

I'm reserving judgement on him because of that. He has spent a pretty long career piddling around at the lower levels of college football. Hoping he was just really under the radar for 20 years as an o-line coach, and not that he just had one generational player make him look really good one magical year.

We were burnt by that with Rhule's one good Baylor year that wasn't really that good. Georgia Tech's year last year feels similar. They beat nobody, had a super soft schedule and got beat by anyone with a pulse and that was all with an NFL talent on the o-line. So how good was that o-line really other than that one player? Might be fools gold 2.0

I have some insider knowledge on this but you guys have to promise to keep it here. Winter conditioning was the best we've had in a long time, guys working harder than ever before. New approach, better results.
I don’t completely chug the kool aid until I hear reports of the players puking from all the extra work they are putting in. THEN I know we are destined for greatness once again!
