Have not seen them play but how good is Texas Aand MI won't disagree. Florida is really good. They have weaknesses though. If UK can find a way to exploit them then I think they can win. Easier said than done though.

Post of the century, and can't be said/posted nearly enough.Duke and UNCheat cheat.
Protection from NCAA and refs.
Hard to beat them.
For a stretch in the second half, the foul #'s went from 7 for Duke and 2 for UF to 8 Duke and 9 UF; during that time Duke got away with over-the -backs and charges. That is when and how Duke came back. The fix. I knew it would happen when they interviewed PK and he said his "relationship" with K goes back 25 years. "nuff said.
You hit it on the head .. Gators quit playing aggressively.. bit us in the ***. The clock will always beat you when you try and milk it.When I see Duke behind by double digits in the second half I laugh because it is a given that the other team will fold like a cheap suit or that the refs will never allow it to get out of hand. I'm never surprised when I finally see Duke pull it out. Floridas slowing down the pace that early destroyed their momentum. It's just like the prevent defense in football. It leads to almost certain failure. K dodges another bullet, What else is new?
Uh, yeah; like THAT wouldn't throw out a few red flags. But I applaud your attempt to deflect.Lol in that case why hasn’t Oregon won the title every single year.
It was a 3 point game in the second half when UF went on a 13-0 run. Then duke went on a run...it’s how most games go.And yet we all witnessed it. Even the duke fans.
Was Cousins that player on the 10 team?
You mean uofsmell type hoes ?Congratulations to both teams for playing in the tournament and finding out what your team is really made of instead of staying hoe and playing a bunch of cupcakes.
That is more of a statemant than 1 question there lil dookie poo .I'm generally a lurker but i do have one question......
If the NCAA does favor Duke, if the refs make calls to favor Duke, then how is that K's or Duke's fault? If Duke is the "child favorite" of the NCAA and ESPN etc....then how is that K's or Duke's fault? What can Duke or K do about this alleged "special treatment?"
Many people, including his own peers said that Michael Jordan often played by "his own" rules or what is known as "The Jordan Effect", which states the following:
"When Michael Jordan was in his prime with the Chicago Bulls, opposing coaches gave that name—the Jordan Effect—to what they were certain was an unfair phenomenon taking place night after night. And the media advanced the notion. Their argument was that the referees were so in awe of Michael that they wouldn’t call fouls on him.
As the opposing coaches, their teams, their team’s fans, and the media became increasingly obsessed with the idea, someone actually monitored Michael’s games for a time and “proved” that the Jordan Effect gave the Bulls at least a five-point advantage in every contest. ESPN announcers often pointed out that the officials were quick to call fouls on opponents who were aggressive with Michael, yet they were hesitant to call fouls on him when he was aggressive with opponents. On Sports Center, we were shown video evidence of the many, many times that Michael was allowed an extra step or two without dribbling and not “called” for traveling." 1.) https://www.andyandrews.com/the-jordan-effect/
What should Jordan have done? How was it Jordan's fault that such an effect took place?
UK plays Kansas, UL, UCLA, West Virginia and Virginia Tech in the non conference. Florida plays Duke, Gonzaga, Cincinnati, Baylor and FSU. It seems pretty comparable to me. But that doesn’t fit your agenda does it?Congratulations to both teams for playing in the tournament and finding out what your team is really made of instead of staying hoe and playing a bunch of cupcakes.
If he was playing for UK, he'd have three quick could in an important NCAA game. With Duke, you can forget about it.
im glad you brought it up and at least acknowledge this exists.I'm generally a lurker but i do have one question......

First, it’s not Duke’s, K’s or MJ’s fault they are/were given competitive advantages for agendas by certain groups ( groups into making money).
It is however their fault that they are pompous a-holes acting like somehow they have done all the heavy lifting. If I were a betting man I would say that Nike had something to do with that ‘Jordan effect’. Nike took it to another gear as a company with Mj. Networks also benefited from Jordan just like they do Coach K and Duke. Just means more $ for advertising and money is king.
Kentucky gets their share of run on these networks as well so I’m not complaining. I think where most fans developed the hatred of all of the above 3 you mention, is because of that ‘effect’ on the court that in turn screws other teams. You do understand why that would be frustrating, right?
K takes advantage of the help. It is called being an accomplice. Every team backs off Bagley due to academics except Duke. The NCAA and Duke make it happen. It is a joke and it is on the rest of college basketball.Yes, I absolutely understand why that would be frustrating to the fans of opposing programs. It just seems the "hate" is a bit misplaced. The Duke players and coaches aren't "cheating", when this phenomenon occurs. They have no control over it. Coach K is PAID (a lot of money) by Duke University to win and enhance the brand of Duke University. I mean this is all big business right? You're competing with other schools and it is absolutely cut throat. Why get mad at K for continued involvement in the Olympic teams when he was asked to do so and it's in the best interest of Duke's brand to do so? I don't know any major business nor corporations that "give up advantages" in the interest of fairness and being nice. I mean it's exactly how America and capitalism works. You take advantage of and capitalize off of any advantage you can get as long as it's legal and within the rules.
K could have said a long time ago "yea I'm thrilled to be offered the Olympics job but it's an unfair advantage so I'm going to turn it down" so now maybe K doesn't get the recruits that brought in the 2015 National Title? You do that for what? So other programs and fans "respect" you more? That seems naive to me, and borderline irresponsible IMO. Nike didn't get to being Nike by being nice and considerate. The outrage at Duke, K and the kids just seems like faux outrage at the heart of it.
Flopping? Ok I get that. I don't like it and want it gone and am ashamed when we do it. Big difference between selling an actual foul as opposed to selling a foul that never occurred. Yes, hate on that.
But I will never understand hating on Duke for playing to it's image and perception, doing the legal things it takes to increase the value of the brand, and doing what EVERY program at this level is aspiring to do and that's win.

Florida has a big man out injured and they will be very tough when he returns.I could care less who won that game as I despise them both but UF proved why they will win a ton but not do much in terms of the tourney and Duke did the opposite .Bagley is the best college player since AD and while guys like Duval are overrated Duke can ride him all the way. UF has zero post game and is very weak on D which are 2 things you have to at least be decent at to win a title. UF IMO wins more games this season then Duke but Duke is built more like a title team.
Every one of dukes close games has gone this way. They miraculously stop fouling, and their opponents hack away. For a stretch in the second half, the foul #'s went from 7 for Duke and 2 for UF to 8 Duke and 9 UF; during that time Duke got away with over-the -backs and charges.
