Listen guys, I'm a South Point fan through and through. I want nothing more than to see Big Red go into Kings Mountain and get the win. But let's be real here.... Kings Mountain is a special football team, and playing at their place makes it even tougher.....
Like Rulz has been saying, SP has GOT to throw the football and open up the offense some. And when they do throw it, they can't keep going to the same kid. It's just too predictable.... when he lines up outside, everybody pretty much knows where that ball is going.
I'm hoping the coaching staff changes things up a little and gives KM something they haven't seen. Because to me, this game is gonna come down to coaching and what adjustments SP makes offensively. We saw some of those issues against Crest, and you better believe KM is gonna study that film and make SP prove they can do something different.
And let's be real, KM has a heck of a coaching staff too. They're gonna do what they do best and force SP to adjust. Defensively, SP is gonna have their hands full trying to slow them down....So the O better sustain some drives and score!
Would I be surprised if KM wins by 13+? Not at all.... and that's not me giving up on SP. Just being realistic. It all depends on which South Point team shows up and whether the coaching staff makes the right adjustments.
I hope I'm completely wrong and Big Red goes up there and pulls it off.... but they can't be predictable and expect to beat a team like KM.

Does the KM QB stay at KM or you think he'll transfer? I have no insight on the kid if family is there etc...im only asking bc I'm curious.

This may come as a shocker but his parents are actually letting him decide what he wants to do and taking in account how he feels. He likes KM and wants to finish there. With the kids and talent coming, I don't blame him. KM is loaded for years to come. There is talk about kids transferring to KM to join him. In CC you see this from a different view sometimes because the parents care more about their own ability to celebrate a team or kid winning a ring as a flex of their own. His parents are doing just fine money wise and really only care about what he wants. PD has probably already been all over them.Sure …. they are 100% committed to KM. For those of you that had already crowned this year’s Kings Mountain team as the next coming, watch tonight’s game on YouTube. Nothing special about that Kings Mountain team. Both KM tackles are soft and real slow. When they get beat on the edge, they hold. KM QB was under pressure almost every snap leading to overthrown balls. KM defense did a good job until they ran out of gas. As always, SP just wears teams down. I think Crest beats KM in 2 weeks.

Will you be able to duplicate it vs km elite varsity team? You know they are a brand of super athletes that are all nfl bound….their parents say so. They came from far and wide because they were “special”. That will be a lot to overcome for Crest when you face down Km.
