Yes, down Windward parkway from my office. Nice place. I play in a golf tournament down the road from you this Saturday at Summit Chase. I'll check the gas prices. But I've always noticed cheaper prices when I drive out that way to various golf courses.
I was paired with a good player from there in the 1999 US Mid in St louis. I've seen him a a couple of two man events in subsequent years. I couldn't tell you his name though.

I think that's it...had the A T& T PGA tourney there I think last year.
No, that is TPC of Sugarloaf which is up towards your work off of rt 20. They had a Senior event at CC of the South years ago and I went soon after Left Eye Lopez burned dow Andre Rison's house. Then the moved it to CC of Georgia. Now it is in Sugarloaf.

Your work as you say is off Rt20, TPC is south off of Sugarloaf Pkwy. Didn't mean to confuse

Okay I think you're right. I love golf but I can't keep up with it like that. You are correct about Sugarloaf though it's less than three miles from where I work.

My wife hates driving on the perimeter because she thinks it's the US version of the German Autobahn. Before GPS came along giving her directions was like pulling teeth.

I'm more like you, I prefer a good map and to know exactly where I'm driving. I learned my way around Atlanta on a Rand McNally Postal Service Atlas that listed street names numbers and the actual blocks that the numbers were in!

Hey Bru you said in the thread you've been here (Atlanta) 30 years. That's slightly longer than when I moved here from California in '92. Don't know how much local news you watched back then, but I was hired at a local station here from Los Angeles and was on the air as an anchor for several years before I got into the Automobile wholesale parts and retail sales business.

Won't tell you my on air name but you might remember me if you watched a lot of local TV news. I was an anchor/reporter since leaving West Virginia in 81/82 (and a few years before that) ...23 years overall. Been here in Atlanta the past 27 years after several more in So. Cal during late 80s and early 90s. Also lived and worked in Texas.

I've been here since I graduated from WVU in August of 86. I probably have seen you on the news but unless your name is Monica Kaufman or Karen Minton or Chuck Dowdle, I probably don't have any other retired anchors in my brain. But I'm sure I've seen and have heard of you if the name was spoken to me.

I'm positive you'd know who I was. Very cool story...actually did not know until you mentioned it today that you lived here in ATL. Maybe (if I can get past some of your more nasty comments to me) we can meet over on your end of town @ Lassiters's where lots of WVU alum hang out on football Saturdays. I often go to UGA games with a couple of my football buds who are Dog fans...have also been to Auburn and S. Carolina for SEC football. Athens on Saturdays in the Fall is a hoot as I'm sure you probably know.
