Got a little gas war going on near my business with a new discount place offering $1.92. I went to Kroger, $2.02, and got a $.40 per gallon discount that brought it down to $1.62

Good for you. Still over $2.50 (this past weekend) on I-64 between Huntington and Charleston.

That's not even remotely true. Doesn't calf, NY and most of the northern states have like $.60-70?

No idea. Gas is actually more expensive in PA. When I drive to Motown, I fill up before crossing PA line because it’s always 10-15 cents more on I-79 from Erie south.

When I was vacationing in Pennsylvania this past summer, I was surprised at how high the gasoline was, so I googled it while there, and PA has the highest gas tax in America, and I believe California was 2nd highest.

2.67 yesterday in Charles Town......got it for 2.02 at Costco in Winchester.

I honestly don't know how they " measure" that but they publicize the crap out of it. We don't have all that emissions stuff that those states do so maybe that the difference.

No way it's the highest. I think Va is .28 and we have a 4% income tax
