Thread should be pinned, so we can all review it every Spring, when gas prices always skyrocket due to the more expensive summer blend, as well as higher demand.

The only problem with that is that this is not a thread about seasonal increases in gas prices (see Trump Iran policy).

Did you read the actual article, or did you simply focus on OP 's retardation? Poor California and their outrageous liberal tax policies.

Trump owns gas prices like every POTUS does except his Iran policy will make them go higher.

Did you also see we moved a second carrier within striking distance of the straight of Hormuz? I dare those motherfvckers to twitch.

With respect to your articles, it’s well established the liberals swallowed Obama every policy and will seek to actively defend the positions regardless of their merit to the US. Save your time, I can handle higher gas prices and welcome it if it brings Iran to their knees.

Iran has been dealing with sanctions for decades, plus EU is still trading with them. Not sure if our sanctions will do them much harm.

Someone like you with a political agenda would never post something like this below, or the fact that current U.S. energy production is now #1 in the World and we are now also energy "self sufficient" as the world's #1 exporter of oil and natural gas! However it would be helpful if you expanded your reading list a bit more, or took your ignorant head out of your equally ignorant *** when trying to convince us to read your Left wing propaganda.

excerpt:
"Christmas came a few weeks early this year," said U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke. "American strength flows from American energy, and as it turns out, we have a lot of American energy. Before this assessment came down, I was bullish on oil and gas production in the United States. Now, I know for a fact that American energy dominance is within our grasp as a nation."

Uninformed ignorance on the Left

Gas Prices Could Rise to $3 Per Gallon Average Due to Donald Trump’s Iran Policies, Analyst Warns

Fake news.

Iran has been dealing with sanctions for decades, plus EU is still trading with them. Not sure if our sanctions will do them much harm.

Sounds like another tax cut for the rich is needed.

And guess which two countries benefits from our sanctions on Iran’s crude exports?

Yep, Saudi Arabia and Russia. Hmmm.

Oil's "boom and bust" cycles may finally be over...here's why?
https://hbr.org/2018/03/oils-boom-and-bust-cycle-may-be-over-heres-why

excerpt:
"As global oil producers work at cross-purposes, the industry’s traditional boom-bust cycle is being replaced by faster, shallower price rotations based on changes in production. It makes price movements less extreme but also more difficult to predict. The constantly fluctuating number of barrels of crude available from nimble shale operations is a primary driver, but so are the long-term impacts of increased fuel efficiency and the fits and starts of the global transition away from fossil fuels on world demand. The news is all good for customers, but it makes planning for the industry players much more difficult".

Well, Saudi is one of our largest allies. It also benefits us as well, we’re kind of a big deal in oil.

Gas prices hit 470 per gallon in California as Trump says hell end Iran sanction waivers - MarketWatch
https://www.marketwatch.com/story/g...ays-he-will-enforce-iran-sanctions-2019-04-22

LOL! California.....

The state taxes gas nearly 75 cents per gallon. California is a tax-happy, sanctuary for illegals, socialistic, human feces ridden, homelessness, sh!thole state....Don't blame it on DC...California is reaping the effects of the progressive movement. Would love to see California and New York become countries. Get the failed socialistic agendas the hell out of America!

Cool, they can continue to deal with them.

We don't need Iranian oil. We can sell to their customers in Europe and Africa more than they can produce. They do need to sell their Islamic oil, and without customers the sanctions will eventually cause them to "wither on the vine" to coin a popular phrase from our Republican past.

Everyone wants "instant diplomacy" now-a-days. These things take time to change, but all change comes with enough time. I think Trump is handling the Iranians perfectly. He certainly has more "time" to starve them out than they have "time" to outlast his crippling sanctions.

Obama is not around anymore to bail them out.[winking]
